I received the poor result that I deserved after my lack of concentration on the first lap. Sorry for that to everybody.

I had some pace, but it was wasted. Had fun at the front fighting for my laps back, but it was about the only good and fun thing that happened for me in today's race. I received what I deserved.

I'm hoping there are a lot of people to beat out there today

I cannot make any of the sessions that are scheduled. I'll be home at 21:15 UTC.. 30 min. too late.

Edit: I work Monday - Friday 11:30 - 21:00 UTC, and the only weekend session I crashed out of early.

Right in the middle of LFS.be's weekly event, but I will do my best to make this one

I actually feel pretty good about my chances this year

We will see what actually happens I might Fail to Qualify for all I know :X

Apparently Honda thinks that IndyCar's new body kits are more open for variance than Formula 1's.

Here's the nose of the road course and short oval package. I like it, but what do you guys think?

I'd like to see pit entry moved to the exit of turn 3 rather than the short chute between 2 and 3.

Maybe a mandatory low line for those who are pitting, but still on the track. Allow those still racing to use that same area for racing though if they really want to drive down to the white line.

I can work either side of the event. If there is ample support for the administrative side, I will race in it (and be a snail)

That's right! The first SEVEN cautions were for "Debris". SEVEN debris cautions before any kind of incidents had occurred to lessen the structural integrity of the race cars and track.

I liked the Russian circuit save for the turn 1/2 complex. The classic "let's start the track with a chicane and spread the field quickly or crash them if they make a mistake".

Actually, I like the idea of mandated speed limiters in place of safety car intervention. Make the maximum speed 80km/h with a limiter that is controled by race control. Don't slow the cars down immediately, allow them to coast the speed off, then send out the safety crews and tractors and what ever else is needed. It will hardly mess with the flow of the race in this way.

I agree with some sediments regarding Safety Car intervention. I don't like Safety Cars, but I also don't like unnecessary risks to lives.

If car recovery can be done without personnel being in a dangerous position, and avoiding abnormal vehicles on track lets keep the race moving without the safety car. If a tractor or personnel are a must then they need a safety car for just that: safety.

Sadly, I think IndyCar already has the correct formula for safety cars, and that can be too much for my liking, but in the name of safety I think that is what should be done (within reason)
