Quote from Texpelt88 :In all 100% honesty, I would have been happy with anybody winning the Indy 500, BUT Montoya. (Note: Been a Montoya hater since 2006)

Just out of curiosity, why have you hated him?

I will work on posting results and statistics later this week and then it will take another day to get to updating the points standings probably.

I'm hoping to get it all done in time for the final round next week Taped Shut
Stop and NEVER go penalty

When somebody is issued a stop and go penalty on a custom pitlane layout (at least on WE5 with MRT) LFS will not allow the stop part of the penalty to end. It results in perpetual disabling of car until spec or jump to pits.

Clearing the penalty does not allow the car to move either.

The following is a reply of once such instance in today's event. The car in question is nikopdr (#87). Timestamp of penalty is 12:50. Penalty is served the following lap.

Quote from F1 mainiac :One question.. How exactly does the points system work here ?
Is it something like R1+R2 points ? it would be nice for a more clear explanation tbh.. I am a bit confused by this :/

Round 3 points will be awarded on the usual points scale.

1st place points will be awarded to the driver with the best average finish in the two races.
2nd palce points will be awarded to the driver with the second best average finish in the first two races.
ect.

Okay. I took my time this time, and it should be correct now.

Rony, you were correct.

2 more rounds, three more races. 2 more weeks Smile

Quote from Eclipsed :This is why you should do standings also after 1st round! But I guess it's too much work to create those pdfs,I'm doing always the easy way and use google spreadsheets. :P
PS. I believe Timo is in lead actually, would be me if I hadn't that mega failure last race...

if i hadn't failed i was gonna be there but lets shut up with the IFs btw Adam didn't race in R1 but has 4 pts.. Big grin

Yes, and Teejay Handley raced in the Fern Bay 150 and isn't listed.

I discovered my mistake.. I dumped information into the Westhill GP results to create the points sheet, and for some reason I deleted a row towards the bottom and it moved a few things. I moved too quickly and didn't question it Frown

I'll pull down the points until I correct it. Westhill GP results and stats I took more time on and SHOULD be correct Smile

What a week and a half leading up to the Indy 500.

I'll be sitting entry to turn 4 Sunday, but I'm hoping that the rain holds off.

I'm hoping that Hinchcliffe is healthier than what he might be. Nobody close to the situation is really talking, but it seems as though he has a suspension bar through his upper leg (thigh) after yesterday's practice crash.

Points standings and official race results added for Westhill Grand Prix.

Scrapped team championship. No teams have taken this series up (other than Race Green autosports, which would have a commanding points lead at this point)

Quote from Flame CZE :I hope the race admins will make use of the new command /setlap username X, no more confusion after timeouts Smile

Definitivly, but therefore you also have to always track, in which lap every team is or was when the timeout happened Smile

We used this in last week's Westhill Grand Prix, and it was not too hard. Just took a few for an admin to go back and get the lap count for when they timed out. No real big deal.

Thumbs up

Regarding Series Points
Quote from Cornys :Two race average (mean) finishing positions will determine points distributions for this round. Competitors only competing in one of the two races will receive a finish one position worse than the number of competitors in the race with features the most competitors. Competitors must participate in at least one race session in this round in order to be eligible for points. Ties will be broken by the best finishing position in the second race.

PM's will be sent to everybody approved for this event. This will occur over night for most participants on the morning of May 22nd. If you do not receive a PM by race morning, please PM me or e-mail me at [email protected]

Quote from vitaly_m :There was really interesting safety car action Big grin

"J.Katilla took the wrong route"

and the escorting stuff. Wonder what was that...

Actually, it was me that took the wrong route. I was trying to use the access roads around the track to get around to the other side of the track, but when I followed the access road I went on towards the national course and it spectated me Big grin

Had we had another admin we would have deployed the Safety Car for the 96, which we escorted back to the pit lane at a low speed, but since we did not have another admin we made the best of it that we could.

I enjoyed watching this race guys Smile See you in 13 days at Westhill Karting Big grin

Quote from Mr. Kninja :How can I withdraw from the season in the leagues section?

I really hate to do so, but my internet has become a lot slower in the past few weeks, and the latency has been affected the most (500+ pings to servers in most games). So racing isn't much of an option for me, at least until I can figure out what caused the sudden drop in speed.

No need to do so. We'll keep you on the entry list hoping that something changes. If not, we understand Smile I can remove your entry if you really wish for me to do so.
