See also: Sex scenes in Mass Effect. That was just... really uncomfortable. If I had any kind of emotional reaction, it was the kind of awkward feeling I'd get if I accidentally walked in on my friends doing it.
I think the KV-1S may have been mine. I came round the bottom end of the church, got hit once and got tracked, stopping me dead in front of about 3 tanks. As I fixed the tracks I saw you come round the corner, fired, dinged, and the next shot got my engine and set me on fire.
The T32 is a horrible grind. The top turret is bouncy goodness like the T29'sbut it's 21k xp to unlock, with the stock turret being made of wet paper. What's more, although you have the 105 from the T29 unlocked from the start you can't mount it until you've made 14k for the tracks, and have to make do with the 90mm.
Notable things since I last posted: I bumped into TangoDelta from these here forums the other day (who proceeded to kick my arse in his Type 58) and we said hello.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the vk3002M. This is the tank I think that will finally teach me how to play mediums.
If anyone wants some platoonery, drop into the 'forumites' channel, password is 'play4fun', where I'm usually found most nights. Technically it's meant as a place where WOT forum members can meet up for toons, but as long as you're not a dick there you'll be welcome.
The Ordnance Survey have used their own mapping to create the whole of the UK in minecraft. I've been having a play this evening, the scale is mindboggling - it took me the best part of 20 minutes flying in Creative mode, just to follow the Motorway from Southampton (where you spawn, at the OS head-office) up to Manchester. The scale seems to be about 50m per block.
Yeah, same here - I've flown light aircraft a good few times and once I'm above 1000ft or so I completely lose the fear, I assume because you're so high your brain stops registering that you're high enough up for it to be dangerous.
The feeling I get is that I'm maybe 10 feet above a tiny model of the world.
When I used to fly with air-cadets we've been flying upside-down with the canopy slid right back, just hanging in the straps with nothing but 7000ft of air above (below) me and not got anywhere near the sick feeling I get from just looking out of a 4th floor window. Although the 5-point harness probably helps too..
