It was the thing that made GRID absolutely unplayable for me - there was a half second delay between any control input and the game responding.

If they have fixed that, I may give it a bash.

If it was a 3310 it would have bounced the bullet back at the assailant and hit him in the balls.

You get used to the size pretty quickly, although using my old SGS2 (which seemed HUGE when I got it) is really strange now, as it seems tiny in comparison.

The thing I'm being constantly blown away by is the resolution. Moving up from 480x800 to 1920x1050, the difference is crazy.


The best thing is, with just a bit of research I managed to get it for only £25 a month, with unlimited data, and the handset was free. Ker-ching.

Right, just got myself a shiny new Galaxy Note 3 and it is *beautiful*. Yes, it was a bit of a squeeze getting it through the front door, and getting the flatbed down my road was a nightmare.


I've been using Go Launcher for the past 2 years on my old SGS2, but is there anything better these days that can get things looking awesome without everything being payware?

Yes, it's no Assetto Corsa, but for a mobile game that steers by tilting the phone, it's actually pretty good, at least up there with Forza and the like.


It's 'Freemium' - you can play for free but there's certain pay-only cars that can only be bought and some people will hate the fact that it makes you wait for upgrades to be 'delivered' (which you can of course pay in-game gold to skip) but I tend to play a couple of races every few hours so it doesn't bother me. You can also win a fair amount of the game-gold through just completing championships and achievements.

The sheer amount of content is mind-boggling for a mobile game - I've been playing about 3 hours and it says I have '12 out of 1804 events completed'
