No, becuase I had the disc resurficed 3 times and the scratches still remain, they are pretty deep.. Although not as bad as they are now that 3/1000th mm has been 'sanded' off the disc.
The game plays but it crashes unreadable after like 1min into a match, so then unplayable.

I cancelled the order of the game because I managed to borrow the game from a friend, copied to the hard drive and I can play the game with my old disk in the drive

Really I have no idea what happens but it was bumped and the famous ring scratches appeared..

The game was bought from ebay so, I had no returns/warranty with it.

But instead he just turned the xbox off and never let on it happened, Found out the next day as I was craving for a few rounds and it wouldnt work

well he is only 11, and he was getting beaten in free-for-all (because he is rubbish ) and hit the desk which made the xbox jump and the disk came out of the tray inside and scratched it all...

He's already gave me £5 to go to the Game shop to have it re-surficed, which didnt work.
So then my dad payed half of the game and I payed the other..
Still I had already bought it once for £37 and now I payed another £16

I've had mine to 4.13GHz but it was pretty unstable, and would just BSOD if the cpu usage got too high for too long Been using at 3.7GHz for sometime on stock heatsink, cpu fan and a small 12cm case fan over the cpu fan (for more airflow)

Temps are nice and low, sits around 28-32°C Idle, Browser Usage.... And around 34-40°C After sometime on LFS, and other games
Sits next to an open window, so there's always cold air for it to breethe

1.2GHz is pretty low compared to modernday specs, Im using 3.7GHz (Athlon X2 6000+ Overclocked 500MHz) just now.
OK not only CPU speed counts but It had a lot to do with performance..

Then again for a laptop it would be reasonable since many laptops are not rreally made for games, although some play them ok

Yea, LFS (correct me if im wrong) would use a similar way of online checking from lfsworld that seems to be secure enough..
I only know two ways of checking the users licence, VIA InSim and it gives a packet containing the licence info (DEMO, S1,S2) which makes it extremely easy to use as a check
Plus the other way via LFSWorld, which I was told I would have to use if I were to release any sort of tweak that could give more, better content.. I would suggest to do it that way, or maybe even both? because its really simple to compare a Demo's stats to that of one S1, S2 stats..
But that may cause problems for a small % of licenced racers as there may well be some racers who had never used a certain car, track? Unlikley but very possible

Yea :P Bob, XCNuse and I have already discussed a Tweak program I had made for z15 sometime ago, I never got to releasing because I never had a secure enough License Check, and then new patches came out and I wasn't really bothered about finding new addresses.. then my HDD failed on me and I lost the source code for my program

2 days ago I was looking for some things on old backup disks and I found a version of the source and just though I'd update for z28 so now I can update the program with latest addresses and implement a secure license check and maybe discuss more with Bob about releasing

It would be possible but takes some work, do have it perfect

I can post the CheatEngine files for XFG XRG & FBM if I am allowed to..

Uses Outgauge not Insim make sure the port set in VLFSDash is the same as the one for OUTGAUGE in the lfs config

Set your port in VLFSDash, lfs config (with internal LAN IP of the second PC)
Make sure you have the ports chosen opened, via firewall andor router settings... and should work like normal

Oh I was the same until I found an old s-video cable
19" TV (main monitor via DVI) + 26" TV (VGA Port) + Portable CRT TV (S-video)

Quality aint that good from s-video but its onlt used for the Dash
