Here's one that closely resembles the chase view...
Note: I cannot find the memory address for Pitch in custom view or FOV..
So to get 90deg FOV you'll have to set it manually..
And also if you want the camera angle facing up or down slighty you'll have to do that manually aswell
Screenshot of the setting: (FOV is 90 and Pitch is 0)

(1 bug so far - when loading or saving, pressing cancel will throw an error, I'll fix it soon )
Seems to work okay from my tests, but there may be a few minor bugs

Features:
Cockpit and Custom views allow you to change the X Y Z values with ranges from -100 to 100 and moves in 0.1 increments by clicking the side or using arrow keys.. or moves like a normal slider
Chase View allows you to change:
Height = 0 to 50
Distance = 0.1 to 50
Angle = -90 to 90
View Smoothing = 0 to 1
Presets can be saved and loaded... They are in type .cve and will later be associated with the program like before.. easier to instantly load a preset with one click
AND Since I was having fun I left a 'wee' surprise in there for anyone who finds it.. nothing much but I was having fun

(Note: This will only work with 0.6B and nothing else, due to the way it is made)
You don't really need coding experience to resize it as its visual You just need to enter the number of pixels and then drag resize all the controls to fit on the screen.. and maybe hide some that don't fit and you don't need
NP Glad to help around here.. And make fun apps lol
resizing means opening the source and changing the forms size and then adjusting all the controls to fit... I had started to make a few versions but since stopped...
And since its written in VB6 I can't do it now, I only have VS2008 Express... No idea where my VB6 disk went lol
Yeah its because my downloads go the the desktop and I downloaded the insim example to edit and start from that, just never moved it into the usual project folder
It would recover some things but others were overwritten and un-recoverable
Lost the source (again) lol... Stupid me accidentally deleted the folder on the desktop instead of another folder.. and that folder contained program sources and other website stuff
I have absolutely no motivation to start it from scratch (again)... It was a pretty cool/fun thing to have on cruise servers but I don't think I'll be programming it again.
So for that reason I'll give permission to anyone who would like to 'copy' this idea and create an alarm program themselves
I would be grateful to help you out on this but I do not believe in just giving code out without seeing that you have at least tried to accomplish this on your own
Providing you don't need a clutch, h-shifter then the DFP is a great cheap-ish wheel
Mine only broke to due my fault, otherwise I'm sure it would still be going strong...
The Thrustmaster RGT has a clutch and sequential shifter, but its slighty more expensive and tbh going for that I would spend that bit more and go for the G25 and get the h-shifter aswell
Probably a long shot... but anyone looking for an Xbox360 Slim 4GB (with 16GB USB)??
Preferably in Scotland to save on postage etc..
Since my old wheel broke I've been looking to get another and my xbox is sitting doing almost nothing...
Its the 4GB Model so it has the matte finish and no 250GB HDD...
Includes one slim (all black) controller with plug & play charge kit + 4800 mAh battery.. Fallout: New Vegas
Call of Duty: Black Ops
PGR 4
Turtle Beach X11 Headset!
Anyone willing/looking to swap this lot for a G25 or G27? or some other similar wheel with FFB, Clutch and H-Shifter?
Just seeing how easy it was to make one
I ran it on an old laptop that was due for re-install of windows so it did no harm to try it
I have no anti-virus or software firewall only a hardware firewall from the main router and the 2nd router I use as switch..
To be honest I never visit any other site other than the daily ones like Facebook, Hotmail etc..
Plus everything I download and have a feeling that there may be something in it, I'll run it through Sandboxie... So anti-virus I don't need :/
But the other version will not as the memory addresses change every time a new build/patch comes out... Simple solution to change the address or make it changeable through the config files but the source is gone and I can't update anything without it
Plus I don't really have the notion or motivation to write another one that works..
I have my Alarm program sitting waiting to be polished off for release, one which uses the collision packets instead of speed but like above I don't have the motivation to open the source and finish the last bits&pieces off
My wheel broke and I've no money to replace it, so playing LFS or any driving games is put off for now, most likely for a good few months as I have my real car to see to, BUT I will eventually finish and release it when I'm bored or somehow get in the mood to do some programming, but for now it'll have to wait...
I reads directly from memory addresses (RAM) and that can be detected by some anti-virus..
I assure you -ALL- programs I make at anytime not just for LFS related things are virus/trojan free... I know what its like to have ALL my files infected within minutes and had to lose over 1000GB of files/movies and music all because of one file that had a virus
You can be cautious about downloaded programs but you're safe from me (even though I am well more than capable of writing a virus, I will never do it, although I did once for fun, but it never left my PC )
