Another way is to use GPS Positioning, something like this - http://www.racechrono.com/
But obviously not every one has a GPS chip in their phone, as with bluetooth they have (presumably :P)
Bluetooth however the easiest way (providing a program can be made/found) to do this but IMO may not be the most accurate way, as it may record times too early/too late or even miss a lap time.. Maybe even on more than an occasional occurrence
Sounds like great fun
Watched the live stream for 5 mins or so, wasn't much happening but it was early
Maybe by next year I'll have a wheel and join in on some LFS racing
as I would love to maybe go next time, just depends on dates/work etc
Also transport getting from Scotland shouldn't be too hard
If you were handy at DIY and/or Electrical with plugs etc
I think it could be possible to cut the cables and then make some kind of junction box and connectors then you could have the longer part of the cables permanently fixed to the desk, table or whatever and then just plug in the end on the G25/27 or any wheel into junction box
Risky job as it could:
a) Void warranty
b) ruin the wheel because u cant get the cables connicting etc
I would but I have lost the sources to all my programs
But I cant understand your error because I have used Windows 7 since the 1st beta, and now use the RTM release
I wrote all my programs using Win7 and Visual Studio...
