Install Great, all shortcuts and associations work
Uninstalled without problems aswell
-Windows 7 32bit
I never use the 'users' folders.. Games, music etc all stored on the other HDD (saves reinstalling them after OS change/update)
I think its better to be stored in like "C:\Games" saves hastle over different folders on each OS etc..
Try some if your interested enough to get some funnies...
e.g...
"does" - "does lady gaga have a ....." (search it)
"do we" - "do we eat spiders in our sleep"
"i like" - "i like to tape my thumbs to my hands to see what it would be like to be a dinosaur" okay..
Playing the Real-Time Racing beta, I noticed it had moving legs and feet, and shifter arm. Window Wipers etc...
Cool feature to have but I agree that its not exactly top priority, Get the performance and other things right before some eye candy...
If only Microsoft had thought the same, There would be no wasted time on Vista, and then quickly developing Windows7 to dig them self out the hole That didnt make sence did it??? How to dig out a hole

When I bought my Nvidia card, going from ATi
I used Guru3D's Driver Sweeper - Here
Did the trick Most of all... Freeware, Supports x86 and x64 andd works on Win7
Anyway, thats not a good thing... I checked it and it resizes, yes but hides the controls
I fixed it, it was a part i had commented out, to try to enable resizing of the forma dn controls, but didnt work and just forgot to put the code back
Im going away in <1 hour, just thought i'd check up....Lucky I did
I think its a problem with the ini, its reading the wrong setting for one of the values, and erroring because its the incorrect type
The installer should overwrite the ini, but it may not be doing it correctly...
I'll post the ini file and try overwriting it manually in the "\Program Files\VLFSDash\INC\" folder
Download Here: VLFSDash.ini
If it still errors then its not the ini and I'll double check the code... I'll also add error handling so I know where it errors and dont just crash
David- my name
Tiger- Because when I was younger my dad says I looked like Tiger Woods in the summer when I get tanned been my username on the internet since I started using it....
Although there are various ways, DavidTiger, David-Tiger, David_Tiger... sometimes a 1 on the end if its taken
Damn, need to buy a set of gauges for this The GPX600 bikes are not electrontic, Spinning cable off the front wheel, ah well off to ebay to get a cheap set
logitekg25: Runtime Error 13... IIRC thats type mismatch.. make sure you are using the new ini, Its probably looking for the rpm settings and one isnt, found , Try This: VLFSDash.ini(right click, SaveAs)
Ripley: Sure, I'll add the various resolution buttons.... Reset rpm settings aswell
Im not sure why it doesn't resize when removing borders as I hadent editied the code for that button I'll get that working for the next update (in a few hours )
Anything more you want, just pop a post here and I'll be sure to add it if I can
-David
Progress:
Reset rpm settings button: Done
removing the borders and adapting: Done
Various resolution buttons: Doing
My time here has been great, I feel as though I have been treated like any member would...
I have said before that the reason I have never gone and bought a license is because I am off to the RAF in January and dont see too much point having a licence for me to never use it, 8-10 months o the year
Yea I joined in Feb09 but I used a keyboard and couldnt really enjoy it with a keyboard, I have a gamepad now but its not the same as a wheel, and again never bought a wheel for the same reasons as the license...
EDIT2: Naruto06: I have done your idea, maximum rpm for each car can be changed from the setup page, all saved into the ini ... Just now the redline will always be 1000rpm lower than your maximum,
(e.g. You set max rpm displayed to 9000rpm, then the redline will go from 8000-9000rpm....)
logitekg25: I have enabled the form resizing, up, down... So you can hide things you dont want... I'll put some options in the setup to enable/disable dials on my next update..
I use Camstudio + their lossless codec, seems to work pretty good for me, its free
Camtasia Studio for me works great for me, actually sometimes better than Camstudio. No colour messups etc.. File sizes are fairly low for long recordings.
I record TV from the TV card, with it at 30-35fps and a 30min to 1 hour show I would normally have about 10GB (nothing on 1TB ), then convert that down to a few hundred MB
