Have you got any other controllers connected to your PC??

I maybe wrong, but working with controllers in VB/C++ etc it selects by default the first ID (in this case being 0)

If you only have your wheel connected then obv there is another problem somewhere

To save searching, I uploaded a blank wav files that I use

Included is:
InvalidKey.wav << I think this one is the fix for the noise
Error.wav << made a blank version of that incase it wasn't

Already passed the Aptitude tests, And my dad knows the lead Engineer pretty well and has also worked with the company since it opened (16 years)

Hopefully get this as its also the highest paying job in the company after the Supervisors. As almost every machine needs to be maintained 24/7 by the Electrical Engineers

The user (from feedback) looks very reliable, but all depends if your happy enough buying from ebay rather than a well know company, although £50 more expensive your guarantee'd not to have problems

I have been looking into making, updating this to z28 and future patches, But I don't really have much of a clue as of how it actually puts slicks into the selection...
It may be some number in memory which determines what tires are available to selected vehicle...

Hopefully I can manage to come up with something soon, As I have almost abandoned my current projects because I haven't had much time on my PC
Just to say, I will eventually get around to updating my older projects but in the meantime, when I get time on the PC I can work on getting us slicks on our vehicles

Soo much faster than FireFox IMO, Double click chrome and firefox.. Chrome is bout 2 secs faster to open...
Loading the same page chrome will be first to finish loading it

Yes, its still in (slow) development.. Just being very busy the past few weeks, and had no time nor the patience to code

Regarding your last post about the "wierd things" you found. They will all be fixed and hopefully be bug free by the next 'big' release. Maybe 1.5 will be almost final, untill I think of/get suggestions to add to it more more updates

Hopefully I can find time to sit down and go through the code, making it better and most likely re-write a few small parts that I added with the small updates I did.. With the little time I really have to code, when I do, its not as tidy as I usually code it :shug:
I hsould be less busy in the next week or so, I can say you can expect an update after the next week or so, but schedules may change

Put the wav files into the [LFS]/Data/Engine
Then ingame do SHIFT+A and click the 'L' and then select the starter you want

Easier to contact sky, you'd need your access username password for the router to access sky...
But its against their TOS to use a different router..

Im with sky also but TBH i've had no problems with their router, Infact im using both the new Sagen router as the main router and Im using the old sky Netgear one as a hub in my room for some extra wired slots for PC, Xbox, Laptop etc

Hey guys, I was editing some engine sounds for the cars in LFS and thought the Default started sound was old and boring

So I decided to create some new ones, And I am sharing them with you
Just extract and place in data/engine then select the sounds in-game (shift-A)

EDIT:Uploaded them all in one.. Now there are EIGHT startup sounds to choose from!
Startup8.wav can be used on formula (well any can but its based off the default) And the rest are generic sounds
