You're full of shit, are you really trying to say that it is so out of order for Scawen to take 5 minutes of his time and write a paragraph to all the people who gave him a shit load of money?
Ambrose is in a completely different league on a road course in Nascar, he is a multiple V8 Supercar champion though so it's not like it's a shock. If nothing stupid happens to him he'll walk it.
Would it take so much to leave a little post on the forum, every now and again saying "we're still here, still working"? If they get that pissed off with people asking about development, they're in the wrong game and they're dicks. Obviously that's just a bullshit made up line by idiots who think that any posts asking about development are daft.
I'm in the same boat, there are a couple of cars that are enjoyable to drive, but not really because they're realistic. Assetto is what I'm really looking forward to, and I'm really enjoying the beta of RF2. Stu, if you find any decent leagues, let me know .
Counter steering is pointless in iRacing after a certain point, and actually speeds up the spin. It really feels terrible. Though, the fact that you can just put both feet to the floor and never spin a car again obviously makes up for that, but it isn't exactly a selling point. When the NTM isn't anywhere as realistic as LFS was 5 years ago, it's not exactly very impressive, is it? Oscar, fair enough the NTM is making progress, but do you really think it's as good as the fanboys say? The tyres don't wear, over the limit feels junk, the cars do some strange pogo from tight > loose all the way round the corners, the tyres heat up too fast, the pressures are well off, the grip is a total guess every corner, the FFB is junk, it feels like you're floating, no flat spots, no dirt pick up, no variable conditions and racing line, and, of course, the 2FMSH is ****ing idiotic. I could go on.
LFS, with maybe a few of iRacing tracks (at least they manage 1 thing properly) plugged into the IR MP service, with all the braindead Americans removed, would make me very happy.
I've had a go of the mephedrone shit about a year ago while it was still easy to get, was horrible to snort but it had a slightly similar affect to MDMA. This Bath Salts shit is more than that though, I never had any trips while taking it, certainly nowhere near an acid trip.
The drug he was taking is called "Bath Salts", it has some of the affects of acid, but it's (apparently) a synthetic drug made from amphetamine like chemicals and really ****s you up.
It clearly wasn't acid he was taking, acid would have pretty much the opposite effect. Where are you getting the LSD info from anyway? Everything I've seen has this Bath Salts shit.
From my experience of playing zombie games (mainly CoD Zombies) you need to find a big large room, like the stage in Kino Der Toten, and repeatedly to lap after lap until every single zombie is behind you, at which point you pull out the MG and grenades and kill them all. Also, find Woody Harrelson, he's useful in a zombie fight.
For anyone who likes zombies, you need to read Max Brooks' books, "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z". 2 brilliant books, even WWZ is being made into a film.
Has anyone played the ARMA mod, Dayz? It's built off the ARMA 2 engine, so it's basically a zombie simulator, it's all about survival against other survivors and zombies.
So I won my Indy 500 split at the weekend, was an unbelievable race. Felt good to do it also with a setup that I made myself, which was far from the quickest car in the race but I still managed to win. 0 inc too for 500 miles is OK.
iRacing are trolling, update has been ****ed up, no NTM for some reason. Man they really do know how to **** stuff up, they never manage anything they say.
Saying that, I have done a few laps now and it's magic, seems like really it is the NTM. The forums go a bit mental sometimes.
Nope, I chose a degree which is actually useful. You also don't see the irony in telling me my opinion doesn't matter if I don't have that particular degree, then calling me arrogant?
By the way, despite your degree, you clearly don't know what a Pyramid Scheme is, and have no idea how iRacing is run. You know that iRacing runs at a pretty significant loss, and only sustains itself through John Henrys investment? Pretty shitty Pyramid scheme they have running. In fact, it doesn't sound anything even remotely similar to a Pyramid scheme. Funny that.
Lets pick this apart, and why you think it's a Pyramid.
1. The more you buy the higher the % discount.
Economies of scale, like everything else on the planet?
2. 100%ers get benefits & discounts that others do not.
A service which didn't encourage you to buy it would be a bit of a waste of time. It is exactly what it says it is, a discount for customers who have rented the most cars and tracks. I really don't see a legality issue with this.
3. You will miss out on big events if you dont own certain content. Pressurising you to buy more.
If you don't buy a ticket to a football match, you miss out on that event, too. There's no more pressure than any other service, it's just a fact of life. What do you want, them to give you the Indy car and Indianapolis for free just because they have a special event running?
So, where is your reason to assume that iRacing are running an illegal Pyramid scheme? And what did you learn while you were supposed to be studying Business? You didn't make yourself very clear, I'm just assuming you were boasting about a degree by the way, if you don't have this Business Studies degree you were boasting about, then let me educate you. A Pyramid Scheme is an illegal scheme where there are no products or services, just rewards for making more people join. iRacing actually does provide a service, and basically products to rent, so I really can not see where you think they have something like this running or why you're the first person to notice.
I'l give you that I was under the impression that a Ponzi scheme was a Pyramid scheme, which I'm slightly wrong about. Although now knowing the difference, I would say that iRacing was far closer to a Ponzi than a Pyramid, even though it is clearly neither.
Do you have a ****ing clue what a pyramid scheme actually is, or did you just see it on an episode of two and a half men and assume it was a valid insult to iracing?
Anyway, for such a hatred you seem to take such an interest in iRacing. Let me ask you, how gullible are you, how much content do you have? I'm betting 'lots and bitter'.
Almost everything on the oval is setup, if you're a decent driver and you get a DWC class setup, you win race after race. Dega is even more setup, but everything in the oval forums on iRacing is super serious and secretive.
Considering the story goes from 1980s all the way to 2025, does a horse in Afghanistan in the 80's seem stupid to you? Why are people reading into MP from a shitty 1 minute SP trailer?
Realistically, who decides on the Campaign whether to buy BF3 or CoD? I think I got to the second mission of the story mode in Battlefield, it's absolutely terrible, but I play it for the MP. Same with CoD, it's a 6 hour distraction with the odd epic set piece, but it's not the reason to get the game.
You don't have to choose between BF and CoD you know, you can play and enjoy both.
I agree that the last few CoD's back to 4 have been poor (not counting zombies mode), but it seems to be the cool thing now on the internet to ridicule CoD every chance you get, making up your mind on BO2 before you even watch the trailer, see any gameplay, details, anything. I'm gonna give it a chance, I will buy it for the zombies mode, for having a laugh with mates playing a few games of Domination, and who knows, I might actually have a little fun with it.
I play as much BF3 as the next guy, but being a fanboy really limits your options. Why not give things a chance, rather than completely dismiss it? This is a release trailer, it isn't gameplay, it's just a couple of handpicked moments from the story mode that look good in a video. Taking anything from it is pointless.
