Just have patience around lapped traffic, sneak past them then go very deep into the next corner so they don't have a chance at bumping you. Oval rookie is full of wreckers, just because anybody can sign up for a 6 month free account, so you just have to avoid them like the plague. If it means not winning the races, who cares. Your only goal in Rookie is to get out of Rookie, then you start worrying about winning.
That looks like a brilliant track, probably not up to FIA standard and a little narrow in places, but it looks fantastic. It's a shame I missed the race, I'm going to be keeping an eye out for it on the usual motorsport torrent sites.
I hope so. I still believe having the knowledge of how to catch a sliding car, just from doing it over and over again, has saved me in reality when my car has stepped out more than once. I didn't even think at the time that it was dangerous or whatever, I just automatically corrected it and carried on.
Also, I regularly pump my mates at karting, often by 2 seconds per lap (last time I went i had the 3rd fastest time of the full week), even though I'm 6 foot 4 and 14 stone, and they're mostly a lot smaller than me. None of them sim-race (unless they're trying it on my PC), so maybe the sim racing has taught me how to be quick. I would love to try it in a car though, just to see if I had any speed.
I did also race Ray (Bawbag) once at karting, unknowingly until I came home, looked at the sheet and recognised his name. I've got about a foot and probably 5 stone over him, but he was making me look like I was standing still on the track, so I'm pretty sure skill transfers from sim to RL, this is at a time when he had a ton of WRs.
You're citing Newsthump as a source? Even though it's a self confessed Spoof news and Satire site, it's clearly a joke, the people and quotes are made up and it's clearly not serious? For example, next you'll be all offended about:
You have hit a new low Racer, trying to prove your bullshit with 'stories' from a spoof site, as if we're ****ing idiots and wouldn't notice. I don't actually need to say anything more, either you're that thick that you thought this site was legit news, or you knew it and don't care, in your acid riddled brain BBC news lie, but spoof sites tell the truth. Next you'll be quoting The Onion to show how the zionists run the world.
It's downloading right now, I'm having problems finding my GTL disc though (haven't used it in years, it's here somewhere), and even more problems trying to find a mini-image.
Re-installing rFactor, fancy driving about on a ton of different tracks, what are the best cars out (feel, physics FFB etc)?. I haven't used rF in about 2 years so have no idea what's good these days. Niels C6 is the first thing I'm downloading. Are there any good mods for 60's F1? Last time I checked the only way was a dodgy version from a dodgy forum, has this improved?
So basically, they followed the voting only where it matched their stats. The whole point of voting was to get different tracks for different series rather than the usual shit, but when anything was different they looked at their stats and changed it. This has left us with a schedule that nobody voted for and nobody wanted.
They're asking for input on what series to run in Week 13, expect the usual SR&IR joke races with street stock and MX5, but expect plenty of fun races too, something like Nascar on road courses and 60 car endurance events.
Schedule is only really set for 1 season, but iRacing are a ****ing joke when it comes to schedules.
The only good reason to sign up now is because it's free. It's dying, admittedly slowly, but I give iR maybe another year max until everyone realises just how badly it's run. Look at the ****ing state of the schedule they realised this season, it's ridiculous. AC can't come quickly enough.
The only people who keep going on about it being "no longer Rangers, a completely different club blah blah blah" are bitter as ****. Rangers continues to be the most successful club in the world with 54 league titles, a ridiculous amount of Scottish/League cups and a Cup Winners Cup, and in 3 season will be up fighting for the SPL, unlike any other club chucked down into Div 3. I'm also pretty sure you won't find another club that will be able to get to a Europa cup final. If you really do want to believe that Rangers are no longer and an imposter is taking their place, put it this way, in 3 Seasons "The Rangers" or Sevco or whatever you want to calll them will be already a far more successful club than your beloved Ross County. To me and the 50,000 people who turn up at Ibrox every week, it's still Glasgow Rangers, they still play in Royal Blue, at the Ibrox stadium in front of a loyal bunch of fans, and will continue to fill the stadium every second week, which is far more than can be said for most Scottish teams (Ross County average attendance is 2500, pathetic).
I'm perfectly happy with Rangers going down to the 3rd, give us a bit of time to rebuild and come back stronger, debt free. I just can't wait to see how many SPL clubs will go "wait a minute, where are Sky and ESPN going with our money" once they pull the plug, then realise it's not as hard as you think to build up a bit of debt. Not forgetting, the whole situation started with David Murray using a tax loophole which was then closed and punished retrospectively, and Craig Whyte being a complete arsehole. Holding the fans accountable is ****ing idiotic.
The 'P' bar is usually to do with the memory sliders in the graphics options. I can't remember exactly, but I have the GPU slider slightly lower than the amount of GPU Ram I have, then it's all about playing with the RAM slider. I have mine set to 1200, even though I have 4GB. My P bar almost never goes into the colours and is usually empty, you just have to fine tune the memory sliders. It all depends on how much RAM you have, but keep lowering it until the P bar shows only grey. That could also explain the skipping.
This has been discussed to death already. It's not 2FMSH, it doesn't even resemble it, and it doesn't snap him instantly straight like iRacing.
For a start, he had a flat RR tyre, which threw it in the spin in the first place. Yes, Senna has slammed the brakes, but the rear wheels aren't spinning, the car isn't revving up, it isn't 2FMSH. Slamming the brakes and locking the front's is always going to pull the car round somewhat, but nowhere near the extent that iRacing does. Anyway, if you get a car into the shape Senna got a car into, 2FMSH wouldn't even rescue it in iRacing.
Yet again, you're full of shit. Do you even know what a straw man argument is? Let me ask you for your personal opinion, do you really think it's so out of order for the dev to take 5 minutes and write something?
You contradict yourself in every post. Why are you arguing, do you not want an update from the devs, or S3, or any updates at all?
How did he play to your strengths, he played 2 strikers, when his plan all along was to sit in and bring the Italians to them. Anyone with a brain knows this is senseless, especially when 1 of those strikers is Carroll and the other one is an unfit Rooney (I hope he was unfit, if that's a fit Rooney then he's shite). He also played 2 basically old guys in center mid, which when your full team is set up to counter-attack seems pointless. Gerrard and Parker ran the legs off themselves chasing balls they were never going to get. I really don't see how any part of the England tactics last night was thought out or suited to the team.
Yeah, Poor devs. They clearly give that little of a **** about the full community that they can't be bothered taking 5 minutes of their time and writing "We're still here". Poor devs who made a fortune from all the customers with promises of more content and updates etc...
