The maps are massive, with all the capture points in a tiny huddle in the middle of the map. Pointless. I will probably end up playing the BF2 maps most of the time.
The UK is the only country where people want to batter people for tiny scratches on their cars. I literally couldn't care less if someone bumped my car a couple of times.
Is everyone forgetting this is a beta? Of course there's going to be bugs, that's the point. Instead of moaning and arguing about it, report them and they will be fixed for release.
The endless amount of people who all say "why are you moaning about iracing? If you think it's fucked, stop paying, otherwise shut up" are idiotic pricks who are wasting perfectly good oxygen. ****s like that are the reason that they can't get a tyre right, they don't get a chance to read constructive feedback because there are 10'000 braindead Americans all talking pure shit.
GTL mini-images work for P&G mod and several rFactor mods, they're just a pain in the arse to find. I eventually found one years ago, but I can't be ****ed trying to find one again.
If my ****ing work had paid me I would be up there just now, now I'm stuck in the house watching it. Not often you get a chance to go to Knockhill when it isn't pissing it down.
That's exactly what the Beta felt like, you could feel the grip, could feel a spin coming and knew how to fix it. It was brilliant to get the car balanced nicely and have it neutral, now with the NTM I'm back to drifting the cars around the track.
Oval cars are miles better, COT race I was just in was probably the most fun I've had in iRacing so far, just need to get the wear and heat buildup sorted and it'll be sweet. I'm not as full of praise for the NTM on the road car, but I'm waiting until it's on a car that I've driven loads to make a fair judgement, I can't really tell how much is the NTM or how much is the insanely twitchy HPD and GT.
When a car and it's power delivery is designed for TC, it's very problematic without it. Anyway, traction control is simply faster, otherwise they wouldn't have it on the car.
I can't believe they can't handle the load of a few people updating at the same time. Are they running Windows Me? They seem to have the most unstable rubbish servers ever.
I'm absolutely fed up of iRacing now, I haven't driven in an official race for nearly 2 months and have just been re-subscribing waiting on the NTM. They are idiots that can't do a single thing right. I have never seen them hit a release date on time, they never tell their customers anything about anything, then they seem shocked when people actually get pissed off at them. Then there are a few dickheads on the forums who, the minute anyone has a single bad thing to say about iRacing, start absolutely freaking out and screaming about how ****ing amazing they are.
They can't even organise a database. Has anyone ever heard of a database where once a name is deleted, it can never be used again? Who the **** coded that, a school kid?
My bets are Truck, Impala A, maybe the Sprint car, the F1 car, SRF and the C6R. The C6R is a safe bet as it will be racing against the LMP2 and Ford GT which will both have the NTM aswell.
