AMD and Intel have been going back and forth performance wise for many years. For the last couple years before the Core 2 Duo architecture came out, AMD was on top (7 years ago till the beginning of last year?). Right now Intel's C2D's and C2Q are blowing AMD away performance wise.
I run a P3 900mhz 128MB of RAM laptop with XP and it runs fine for web browsing.
PCI is useless for gaming, the bus speed is so slow that almost all graphics cards surpass it. You would be much better off with a new computer.

The Demonoid trackers are still running as normal.Trackers basically connect you to the peers that also have the file. The website is down though so that means you now can't obtain any .torrent files hosted on Demonoid.

I doubt Demonoid is down for good. They always pull through, like The Pirate Bay. I hope they arn't down for long though.

Did you check it even with nothing plugged in, or like a lamp that is off plugged in. The meter could be off as you said it was cheap.
EDIT: Also, while the computer is off, it uses a little bit of power to keep the time accurate aswell as a few other things.

I'm not really into GH but my brother preordered the 3rd one like 2 weeks ago. 
I have the MX518, It is a little different (shape wise) from the normal cheap mice but you get used to it very quickly as it more comfortably supports your hand. You will love it's accuracy and movement whether your going for head shots in CS:S, or editing pictures.
You can use two sound cards? I don't see the point of why you can't play everything out of one sound card. 
How do you have the second set of pedals wired up? (Like do you run them through the Formula wheel, hidden from view, and into USB)

Make sure you take everything you want off of it first, formating a drive to NTFS will erase everything on it!
