Only thing left I can think of is getting a hold of them and asking them what to do. Maybe they might actually know about their own boards .

I would recommend just starting over with a new MB, C2D, RAM, HD, etc. I don't think it's worth it in the long run to keep that computer going as any upgrades will be brought down by the rest of the components . Maybe you could sell it or give it to a relative?

Would this help you at all?

I had a program similar to this with the drivers on my 6600GT years ago.

C:\Program Files\Steam

delete ClientRegistry.blob, this has always fixed my steam connection problems. It regenerates when you start steam again.

Quote from deggis :ps. Right now the tvunetworks.com seems to be down, and I guess that's why the whole program does not load. That better get fixed before saturday...

Seems to be up and alright as I am watching the Speed Channel right now. I love TVUplayer as my parents refuse to get digital cable/satellite, so it is the only way for me to watch the Speed Channel.

I don't think the G25 pedals will work with other wheels, though I have never tried it either. The G25 has the best performance:quality ratio in my opinion.

Prebeta 5 out, though don't expect it to be complete or bug free as they are nightly builds.

Quote from Shotglass :haha
youve just lowered the rest of your post to totally not worth reading

You aren't going to read his post about hand brakes in a hand brake thread because he doesn't know how to post a picture on the forum, which has nothing to do with car knowledge?

Quote from Stang70Fastback :It's always squeaked a little and it SOUNDS like it only goes to the rear.

EDIT: wOOt! 1,000 POSTS!

Even if it is directly connected to the rear, wouldn't it be indirectly connected to the front as well through the drive train?

Stang, does your handbrake on the outback lock all 4 wheels? I have the same car and was wondering if it was just connected to the rear wheels as it is AWD. I haven't tested it but I always figured it only locked the rear wheels as it would be too complicated to include all four wheels. But then, does the center differential disengage when the handbrake is pulled?

Quote from zeugnimod :The question was answered about a year ago.

The other thread was off topic, and everyone was still debating about it, so I bumped this thread.

"In cars, the hand brake (also known as the emergency brake, e-brake, park brake, slide stick or parking brake) is a supplementary system that can be used if the vehicle's primary brake system (usually hydraulic brakes) has a failure."

What to do in a brake failure:

A bus driver can be fired for letting someone off the bus at an unauthorized stop. If the girl had gotten hit by a car after getting off the bus, the driver could be held responsible. The driver did the right thing, and I hope the charges are dropped on the driver. If I was on that bus, I would have put a fist through that stupid *****es face..

Quote from Crashgate3 :Before I do, I just want to confirm that performance-wise it stands somewhere between the 3850 and 3870? Also I'm guessing that because it's a mid-range card with a brand new chip architecture, it'll run pretty cool?

I am not sure how cool it will run, check the Tom's Hardware review here.

Quote from AndreABG :with Vista 64bit u should take 4GB RAM (don't know how its in britain, but here in germany u get MDT-6400 2x1GB Kit for 35 Euro ~ 23 pounds)

In my opinion, you don't need more than 2GB for a media center PC, even with occasional gaming. I was able to play CS:S and quite a few other games maxed out with only 1GB of RAM in Vista.

Shut down steam, navigate to C:\Program Files\Steam, and delete "clientregistry.blob" (it is remade when you restart steam). This has fixed steam for me numerous times when it could not connect.
