i was bored.. so i made one thats red on top and yellow at the bottom just for pure fun...

no blurring or anything, just painted.. :P have fun with it

Here is a couple of new renders i made yesterday..

The first is made with the Bridge-scene from Mickyc30 (took me 2 hours to render)

Btw, does anyone know any way that i can "batch render"? I mean, so i just select all of the scenes i want rendered and he just renders them one after another? That would be sweet as i mostly renders when i'm sleeping

Well first of all i must get my 3dsmax to work properly... still getting jagged edges, and strange "black pixels" a little here and there on my cars :/
and that is when im using the scenes from some site i dont remember the name of.. hmm.. all setting default and all.. its strange
will post a pict in this post when the render is done so u people can reflect over what the problem can be.

Well... nice.. hmm.. have been downloading the pack from post #1.. and NOW i see theres a new one :arge: i better look more carefully next time.. ooh well..

i have been looking at the pictures that's been posted here and i must say.. renderings from 3dsmax look way better :O how come? or is it possible to make them look as nice in Blender?

To make the brakes squeal you need the brakesqueal sound in each car folder. Thats why downloading the full pack of cars is helpful. And make sure the Brakes button is active for each car in the CSR screen. The little down arrow under the bottom orange box needs to be opened down to see that.



I just spent 1 hour helping someone cofigure CSR on their PC via text talk in game. He had a funny clicking sound that would not stop. Found that removing the csr/sounds/_misc/winker.wav file stopped it. Of course he doesn't have Blinkers sound now, but that is no problem for him.

But then other car sounds (USER FILES) wouldn't work in cockpit view. He was in user mode and FZR worked, just the other cars didn't work in cockpit, I never heard of this so gave up.

edit:
It turns out when he first edited the Outguage cfg.txt, he edited OUTSIM values instead. When we realised this, he changed the Outguage and this got CSR working. But he forgot to re-instate the old OUTSIM values so this caused the clicking and the cockpit sounds failure. (Sheesh, lucky he had the idea to re-check that)

Oh, I'm so sorry! I Read it and thought it said "tire skid".. hmm.. don't ask how i got it to be that :S Well it works then :P

the tire sounds aren't there.. well they are there, but they dont make any sound ingame :/ dunno what it can be tbh..

anybody else with this problem?

Outsim port always seems to stay 0

Honestly, my main installation of LFS is so old that I don't know what has changed when and why. Also Outgage mode (or was outsim mode?) was on mode 2 and not mode 0.

Sorry as this gets a little incoherent, but maybe someone with trouble connecting to Live for G15 can check this stuff in cfg.txt out in the mail LFS folder.

All I know is that when I changed the Outgage port from 35555 to 30000 it started working. For the record: I'm using the default insim port 29999.

did read it AGAIN... and the fault i made was that i thought OUTSIM = Insim... didn't really connect very good in my head

hi all, i really love to look at your renderings here on lfsforum.net, but i have a question: are there any chance that any one of you out there could share your settings in 3dsmax/brazil with us? i was wondering because i can never get the settings for shadow, lighting and all of the other stuff, to be so perfect as you guys.. plz pm..

it works like a charm on my G15 v1.. really nice being able to clear the screen totaly to get those extra fps :P

yes i have... well not me but a friend, he who owns the car, did try. i saw it in the cars manual that it was syncronized and he wanted to try.. it didnt sound any odd while the clutch was pushed.. but he didnt want to let it up fully
