I got this game for my birthday, I really love it

Tho i think the game is a little hard to play with the gamepad, so I'm saving for a MS wheel :P

Well as LFS is a simulator I would like to suggest a few things (which i searched for and didnt find suggested before).
  • Automatic Indicator Turnoff. What i mean with this is that when u turn on the indicators, make a (for example) left turn, and then straighten the car up i would like the indicator to turn off, like irl.
  • Seperate Ignition Key and Starter Key. So that you can push one key for the ignition (interior lights *hah*, radio *lol* and the low beam). And another key for the starter.
  • Engine Starter Delay. Just as IRL, so that u need to hold the button for a few seconds untill the engine starts.
  • Changable Clutch Sens. I really HATE that the clutch is (almost) on or off eventho its mapped to an analog axis.
All for now i guess :P Great list btw! =)

EDIT: Also for the Seperate Ignition Key and Starter Key i would like to add: When Ignition ON (not engine) the rear light + front should light up. so that "3" only turns on the highbeam as the dashboard indication is a picture of the highbeam anyway.

I have a LG x110, 3GB ram, 1.6GHz Atom in it.. It sucks when it comes to playing games.

LFS "works" @ 640x480 with 14fps.. not playable but it runs atleast.
Havent tried any other games as i primarily has it sitting on my tv to relay the music from my stationary comp

EDIT: And also, i have seen alot of proper Laptops here in Sweden that are cheaper than a Netbook.. So if i were to get me one of these today, i'd go for a laptop instead.

Quote from Bose321 :Ofcourse I have. But doesn't mean they're faster, have you heard about i9? Also 6 cores, and 12 Threads, so they ARE faster.

What about the 6-core, 12-threads i7? I'd rather have that one

Quote from RiGun :There's your problem, LFS uses just one of the four cores in your processor, and the Q6600 ins't the fastest of the processors in single threads, probably an E8400 will have better FPS on LFS than your Q6600.

Well yeah ofc it does, an E8400 is clocked @ 3GHz.. so thats 0.56GHz faster, per core, than the Q6600..

Quote from chavm481 :with direct x 9, many poeple could not play lfs anymore.

Well, I think you're pretty wrong saying that.
How many use computers so old that they can't even run Windows 2000/XP?

It would mean a really good improvement in graphicquality to use DX9, tho I can't see it coming anytime soon

Quote from matijapkc :Maybe THAT is the PROBLEM. You PC may be virus nest, and they could slow your PC reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly much. Especially if you have some Trojans. Get AVG 9 Free and Ad-Aware. They can find anything. Scan and give us report.

Sure it might be one solution, except that those two DO NOT find "EVERYTHING"..

OT: Try to kill all the processes that u don't need running in activity manager or whatever the name is in English

If it's a "netbook" then maybe we can change the os? So, maybe, we can install XP/Vista/7 and, maybe, have any use for it

Quote from morpha :Yes but what you are trying is not D to D or A to A, it's D to A. VGA is never digital, so what you need is DVI-A to VGA, the link you posted confirms this:

Still DVI-I is both D and A, so if the monitor cant use D it uses A instead. Has always worked for me here.

Quote from Stiggie :Is that where you base your conclusion on? It's not about that. Have a look at the wattage it uses by yourself before you think of these conclusions. Ofcourse it depends about which videocard you compare it with. And i for a fact that it consumes quite a lot of power in my setup. (Depending on what you're doing on the pc).

What i meant was; I have (pretty) low-wattage psu, and still i cant get my computer to use enough power for the psu to work hard. so: i have never heard my 520w psu on highload, not even in crysis.

A little to read about Single/Dual-link.

Use DVI from the PC, and HDMI from the consoles, thats what id do atleast Easiest too :P

Quote from Stiggie :...Specially with such a demanding GPU as the GTX 260...

GTX260 aint "demanding", feels more like i can power it with a 24v battery tbh.. i bought a CM 520w, which i have NEVER ever heard the fan speeding up in. So it cant use much power..

Quote from shiny_red_cobra :Wow I hadn't noticed it's not a dual core. Wow...what a piece of shit cpu, it's even worse than I thought. Why does it have D in the name then? Wow...

TBCH, i have NO idea whatsoever.. I cant think of a good reason to call it Celeron "D" if the "D" dont stand for DUAL/DUAL-CORE or whatever.. Strange as hell

Tho it completely makes sense when u think of it (celeron d being a singlecore without HT), its for workstations, should use very little power, and doesnt need to handle high res or anything.. its just for those fancy typewriters

EDIT: 3x "WOW" in a post.. record?

Quote from Bawbag :Ok mo****as.

It's making some sense now. Basicly the problem came when the new prcoessor went in, tried to suck lots of power and the PSU couldn't handle it. When I was removing the PSU for the new one I noticed that the cable for the motherboard power was very stiff, but I just thought it was like that because it had been in for so long.

However my old man is an electrician and he was explaining to me that it might be one of the power connectors in the Mobo and that the connector pins in the Mobo will expand if they heat up too much. Then I remembered about the cable from before being allmost stuck in the board.

So my problem is the main connector for the Mobo heating up and sucking more energy, causing it to heat even more causing in power to be lost and it wanting to suck more energy.

I have the pc out and on it's side (I done this with the old chip so I could do the MoE) with the case off and I put the new chip in once again, sure enough after a while (Not as fast as before) I suffered frame drops, but not anywhere near as serious before, only down to 40fps. Then it would go back up to normal, few mins later the same again.

I put my trusty fan over the pc pointing into the main cable and left it running for about half an hour with no frame drops what soever.

So basicly i'm gunna get some electrical appliance cleaner, clean up the socket and try to fix the little pins inside the bad connector, if not then i'll ge a new mobo.

Thanks for all the help.

<-- Me right now as im reading ur post..

"So my problem is the main connector for the Mobo heating up and sucking more energy, causing it to heat even more causing in power to be lost and it wanting to suck more energy."

YES, ofc! Why didnt I think of that? Oh wait, for it to heat up that much i think u need to shortcircuit it. And for that to be possible u need to not have a grounded computer i think.. So something must be REALLY screwed if im not totally mistaken here..

As this seems to be the only thread about the Swedish Translation of the INGAME-text, ill bump it and submit 3 errors in the texts. Hopefully it will get fixed

3a_upc_fmal %s^8 updaterade kontroller

Things in BOLD should be: "uppdaterade", so the only thing wrong is one "p" to little
