as he said it was PA speakers, then no it aint Hi-Fi.
still, i have an old microsystem, it says on the front "hifi sound" tho its only 2x10w.. and believe me, there is nothing Hi-Fi about the sound
as for EQ's; if u have a really good soundcard (pci, pci-e, usb or Firewire), try the DECiSOFT Equalizer for Winamp. can be adjusted to 32 bands and it gives u a nice sound if u bother to set it up right.
by cutting the fuel? in modern fuelinjected cars the fuel is cut at the instant when the engine starts to slow the car down, when enginebraking that is.
Well I, both in LFS and IRL, enginebrake. But i guess most of them who do, just drop the cluth after downshifting.. I dont..
+ Enginebraking dont JUST have to do with helping the brakes. Most of my friends uses enginebraking instead of the regular brakes just to save fuel / brakepads.
So THAT'S the reason so many people use engine braking IRL then? Cause it makes no difference?
Like Not_Sure said, it gives you the option to brake only the rear of the car. Which also means that you can balance the car more exactly when taking a turn.
And i for one, uses BOTH (omg MadCat360 might say) engine braking and footbrake when driving IRL _AND_ in-game.
i self would have gone with the first choice. its atleast a little futureproof, and if u change ur mind about what games to play, u will be able to do it, without spending a fortune
Why should u need to clean ALL of the drives when windows (for the most part) always is on the C-partition? and how do u reinstall a drive? do u mean that he has to disconnect the drive and then connecting it again? :O
i tried with the default engine sounds, and still get the same thing. tho it takes longer to produce, and its quite annoying when out of gas and trying to get to the pits :P
is it just me or does the sound screw up in LFS if u stall the engine ( or kills it urself then.. -> ), puts it in a gear and try to start the engine (without using the clutch)? on my comp the sound just gets louder and louder and after a while the sound wont go down in volume again :S
dunno if its HW or LFS related really..
