one of the easiest things to do if u want more FPS is to change "MinimumSleep" to 1ms its somewhere in the settings of LFS.. it makes my fps jump from 120 to over 350..
i just had to open up my g25 shifter, as a friend of mine spilled some sort of choco-drink into it... so i had no 6th gear, the reverse was always in :P
sorted it by opening the whole damn thing and resoldering the two wires for the "push-down-for-reverse" button, and then cutting the cables that connect to the little pcb with the above mentioned button. put some electricaltape on it and connected the cables again... now it works but the thing is that i no longer has any warranty on it :P
i dunno what automatics you have been driving (electric, steam or rubberband powered) but i have NEVER seen an automatic that is CHEAPER to drive then a manual?.. pls enlighten me..
whatever, nvidia or ati, they're good at different things.
i.e i had an old gefore2 pro.. it was good as hell, tho it didnt work in all the games i had so.. bought an ati 9200le, it was good, for awhile... upgraded my comp, got an 7300gt, it was AWESOME.. upgraded again -> 7800GTX, and now im on a 8800GT..
my point is, we all go through different stages in life where we love one brand, then move on and gets the other brand.. all my cards have been awesome tbh, just that you need to upgrade after a while anyhow.
im guessing my next card will be an ATI nnnnx2 as i have always wanted one of those and it will kick the crap out of the card i have now. so tbh its not comparable..
fanboy this, fanboy that... its just bullshit anyway. we will NEVER think the same about all stuff that u can put in a computer ffs.. sure im not an ATI-lover.. but i would sure as hell want to try one of their newer cards.
EDIT: whats up with the poll? "nvidia, ati or integrated" ? wtf.. if i have an integrated ati/nvidia, how do i do then? :/ should be like "intel, nvidia, ati etc etc etc etc"

That's not true. As nobody can check if you DO as you said you would when you pressed the "i agree"-button. You do not HAVE TO abide, but the producers/developers wants to make sure you know that you're not allowed to do anything else then what is written in the license.
