Well to correct you, the Celeron D's aint dual-core. Tho i agree to all the other. The only thing you can have a Celeron for, is work. Like writing, surfing the web and such. Other then that the cache is too small.
I seriously cant see what so fun with calling one or the other anything more than what they're called.
I have had ONE ATI card, back in 2002 (radeon 9200LE) and the drivers sucked.. Really, they did.. Thats the ONLY reason why i dont use ATI. Tho i KNOW that ATI's drivers has improved alot over the years, and that why my next card will be an ATI.. Tho im not a "fan" of any of them, i just go with the one that suit my needs the best. And if 3dFX would still be alive i wouldnt have changed from them..
OT: Found XFX Radeon HD4850 XXX Dual-DVI 512MB, swedish site, tho the price is just under 100€, best i could find NEW for that price.. I bought my gtx260 for 1400sek, about 137€, not long ago and im happy with it..
Well strange enough my computer runs fine on a 520w 80+% Coolermaster PSU.. and i have 4 hdds, an oc'd e8500, 4gb ram, 4x 240mm fans and a gtx260... never been CLOSE to using all the power my PSU can deliver.. so its strange that a "NEW" computer "NEEDS" 600w+... power hungry? checked the wattage on cpus lately? its not like its the cpu that need most of the power ..
and yeah, the things i said about "ripping" it apart, usually helps.. well for me anyhow, must be something wrong with my computer or my computer knowledge to do such a stupid thing.
EDIT: forgot to mention, CPU throttling is a "feature" (irritating feat, nevertheless a feature), for the CPU to make sure it doesnt overheat. And i cant understand how your computer can throttle if its not even close to overheating.. Oh well, pls post the solution once you get it working again.
In every computer i have ever had my fingers (building them or whatever), throttling has only occurred when the CPU has been overheated. I have NEVER seen a computer that throttles due to being low on power.. unless the OS has a power saving feature that is on?
Have u tried, like someone else said, to only have motherboard, graphic and cpu in?
does it boot?
bsod? or just hang?
tried removing one or two sticks ram?
also tried to go into the bios and simply letting it sit there at the hardwaremonitoring screen? so u can see if the voltage dips, if the temp is hell of or anything? alot that u can do to check whats wrong tbh
Yeah cause NO ONE has EVER had a smaller monitor than the 1st one, right?
i used this on my LG X110, and i just put the smaller comp/screen infront of my 22" and behind my keyboard.. worked like a charm.. until i wanted to use RevLimiter instead xD
Might be considered a bump but, I havent seen any proof about s/he being neither a SHE nor a HE in 14 pages of... dunno what to call it tbh.. CRAP maybe..
So does anyone have any proof of either one or the other?
there aint no "proper" rave "partys".. its not a "party", its just a bunch if idiots "dancing" (stomping in the ground more of) and for the most part pretty "drunk" (high, drunk whatever). Plus the "music" is kinda... RUBBISH..
I know most of the pictures are horrible, tho i cant keep from laughing at pict #37 in part 1. The policeman just sists there like he's thinking in the way of "what? normal day, drinking my drink" or something
FX5500 is a REALLY old card, dont think it has the power to make LFS look good tbh :S
Tho the best u could do is to try and pull LFS up to the highest res, and then tweak the settings in-game to make it look as good as possible.
Cause the gfx-card itself doesnt magically make it look any better
