I assume you're in the LFS team, what time are you going to have it. also make sure to turn damage all off including cosmetic, it's easy to get lag damage and ruin the picture.
1: I'm very against having a langauge filter, if there is one it must be an option for servers to use if they choose to, forcing it on all racers I think isa bit silly, most of us here are adults and if we like to express something to the full extend or just have a general conversation with a particular group of people then **** shit ass **** is sometimes nessacary.
2: Insim has this feature already assuming you mean after the race is finished. it would be nice though if this was an option for servers not sunning ario.
3: Not really fussed.
4: I agree there needs to be more cheat detection but I'm not sure if laptime relitive to world record is the right way to go about it, I think that a detection system needs to work some other way detecting 3rd party programs or variation in LFS code, not exactly sure how the cheats work, never used one personally.
Drugs are a very sensitive topic to the majority that have not experianced them.
I think there are a few major factors, things such as Meth or Heroin can make people vey socially unacceptable, personally I have not tried either but I have been around people that have.
The second biggest issue I think is tax, if the government is to make a product legal it also has to be profitable.
Weed is slowly getting closer to being more socially acceptable with range of high quality properly taxed and profitable variations for medicinal purposes.
If it were to be legal it would open the doors to large companies mass producing to the general public, having the ability to choose your preference as if you were buying a pack of cigarettes. If this were the case home growing should/would remain illegal.
I'll back this argument with alcohol as an example, the amount of quality variation in alcohol now days has ultimately pushed out the home brewer making moonshine to sell on the black market, but that's just one example.
Needless to say alcohol and tobacco are one of the most harmful drugs when compared to most of the illegal ones but are more easily regulated in consumed quantity.
I can't see MDMA being legal any time soon, despiate the fact that any one you encounter on the substance will be the friendliest person in the world the side effects of frequent use can lead to depression and mood swings. Let's face it, it's fun but your brain needs it's serotonin. (don't bother flaming me for this paragraph if you've never tried it)
The fact is that there is so many different kinds of drugs out there. I won't lie I have tried most of the popular drugs out there my fav being LSD, but I stand against making them legal for the simple fact that it would be too difficult for general sociaity being completely adaptable to some 18 year old knocking on their door at 2am offering a peanut butter sandwich.
I moved house recently and my new house has a rumpus room as an extension already put in, I wasn't quite sure what to do with it at first, but I've decided to make it into a racing sim / movie room.
When I was living at my mums my setup looked like this.
In the new house now I was going to replicate a bedroom setup but decided against it.
I picked up a nice cabinet and tried it out with my house mates 37" screen.
Once satisfied that the positioning of the room and layout was okay, my mate took his TV back for the living room.
after some measurements I decided on a 1080p projection room. I found a 90" projection screen on ebay, however the dimensions were only for the screen and not the complete unit. so after a few hours of pulling the whole thing apart and cutting away the screen from the mechanism I maanged to make it fit with about 10mm clearance.
I still have a few things to do such as, building a mid-range PC for LFS/movies and other various games.
Purchasing an amp, center speaker and subwoofer, running some neat wires and cleaning up the layout.
I was considering putting up a fake wall to cover the pipes and such but being that the rumpus room is connected to the garage i decided against it.
Finding the right projector, this is a tricky one they range a lot in price I'm looking for one with a native resolution of 1080p so feel free to put in some suggestions.
I'm in no major rush to get all this finished but I'll update as I go along.
Many years ago when I limewire was more popular than torretns I was looking for songs by Infected mushroom, I came across this one song that was about 50mins long and labled as infected mushroom but I soon learned that it wasn't.
It's probably one of the best phyctrance songs I've ever heard and I lost it when my ipod broke about 4 years ago.
I had found a song called Zero gravity by 12 mooons which contained about a 6mins snip of the song I am talking about but it has since been removed from Youtube, I'm not sure if this was just a poor rip or if someone blended many songs together in some kind of epic magical way.
It's a bit of a long shot but did anyone ever come across this track?
To be honest, I help people that seems like genuine decent people, however OP has 80% negative trolling posts, as a result of this I don't care about OP.
Generator? you're not running a hosptial, the power to spark your car comes from the alternator which is a free spinning componant.
The power is determined by the internal parts of the alternator, which almost always has an amp rating embosed on the outside is an easier referance.
The alternator is what provides the power to spark the fuel in the engine, the batteries function is to start the car and run accessories when the engine is at idle or turned off. think of it as something plugged into the cars electrical grid and is charged when the alternator "powerstation" is spinning.
Now if your car has enough accessories to draw more power than the alternator can make then your engine will stall.
This can happen with say a 700Watt RMS sound system in an old car with a 45amp alternator then yes when you turn the volume up the car will stall or "lose power"
All standard cars i'm aware of have sufficiant alternators to power everything at once. I don't see why LFS cars need to lose power by turning on a light switch or beeping a horn.
Exhibit A: an individual would come from such a game renown for it's pre-teen players, (MW3) and call the community of a highly realistic racing simulator kids?
I lol'd
Exhibit B: If you can't grasp simple physics such as unable to turn the car with your front wheels locked up then please go back to NFS.
Exhibit C: You drive auto, nuff' said.
Regards,
Some 12 year old kid who's been playing since he was 4.
4: The way he said it implied that the engine would lose power from turning on a light switch, I'm not sure how electric cars would react, but I don't really think that matters considering LFS doesn't have any.
Pretty silly thing to have IMO as a petrol car will run without a battery not effecting the performance.
