you can download the skins you have personally uploaded to lfsworld by logging into lfsworld\myonlinecarskins and clicking the download 1024 button, this will then save all your skins in a zip file see pic below

Looking good with all the nfs logos in place, the I.T.S logo is independent truck suspension had a look round for the logo but couldn't find it.

Here is a close up of it :


As for the lokey logo all i found was there website link and its dead

Thanks, I will do the FXR and XRR for you, will update this thread as I finish them, shouldn't take too long as I saved most of the logo's. If you do want your name putting on it what name do you want, I was going to add it too the top of the doors running along under the drivers/passengers window.

Skin is finished I think, did the standard colours and the yellow will send both skinfiles then you can use which ever you prefer. If you want your name adding to the skin let me know and I will add it before i send the files to you

Work in progress but heres what i got so far. Do you want the rear of the car yellow instead of white to match your team colours?

yes but if you hold right mouse and you can change the view angle, also can lowered same as the standard cam.

Whiskey's right its only 2.6m and lower that there is a problem. attached is one taken at a similar angle but with height at 3.0m, pit wall is fully displayed.

Just keep practising, have you tried Gimp its what quite a few people use and is a good (and free) alternative to photoshop.

Base colours of skin almost done just need a little adjustment, will finish it along with logos when i get chance later in the week

I know there is already a few martini liveries out there, just fancied having ago at another , skin for XRT, uploaded to lfsworld, feel free to use

For your first skin its very good

just a few errors, to help with logo strecthing have a look at this guide by JazzOn. Also try google images or brandsoftheworld.com for some high res logo's.

Other things to watch are were you place the actual logo's so they don't get distorted by various parts of the car, for example the hella logo of the front bumper gets distorted by the small winglets (or whatever they are called ). Have you tried using the cmx viewer to view the skin as you are working on it? helps you to check how things are lining up, if logos are out of place etc.

The windscreeen visor has some of the stripes from the roof running into it, if you lift the windscreen visor layer above the layer you have put the stripes on it will hide the overlap.

I don't want to sound as though I am ripping your work to bits, just trying to give you a few pointers, like I said for a first skin its a very good start. A hell of a lot better than my first skin

Had the exact same problem as HP described, just started LFS one day and it started as though it had just been installed. Hadn't changed or done anything to lfs itself. Nothing was lost (skins, sets etc) just seemed to corrupt the name config file/s.

Reinstalled LFS to another folder and just copied the new config files into my old install and it works fine again. Only thing lost was driver name and binds.

No idea what caused it and (shouldn't say this but) has been fine ever since
