• open your skin, (paste as->new layer) / (create new layer->paste), probably resize this layer
• move this layer on top of all other layers, select mixing-mode (don't know how exactly it is called, usually a dropdown-list where you can find things like "darken", "lighten", ...) "multiply"
now you should have the default-skin for shading. should work with all "better" graphic editors like gimp, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, ...

Oh, just remembered a very common mistake: Forgetting the "s" after he/she/it or the "n" of "a" (e.g. "a elephant" instead of "an elephant")

If you want to experience unclean racing at it's best, wait for a rallycross track to show up on STCC 1a and get the XRG. 90% of the time a XF GTi will come and gently spin you out. I surely hope this behavior will improve as soon as I have my gold license

On the serious side: I can't be bothered by small mistakes like missing apostrophes or smaller grammatical/spelling mistakes, because there are non-native speakers here, especially the young ones, which simply aren't as good in english as others. They can use your post as guideline though
I'm much more annoyed by people, who don't even try to form a sentence, and I usually ignore requests and questions by them. Sometimes I wonder if they even went to school

Did you actually rebuild the whole track or did you just copy it from the lessons-folder?
Just select the setup you want to mod and click "new". I like the auto-save-setup thingy, so that would be a -1 from me 
About the sorting setups by track, that would be nice, sure, but only possible for an incompatible patch, because the layout of the *.set-files may have to be changed.

FZR closely followed by the XRR for me... I would've loved to vote for my precious LX6.... but it's only the looks, I'd still prefer the LX in any situation

about the layout: looks nice for SP purposes, but in MP I guess overtaking/lapping would be quite difficult...
dumpvalve from u32 (I think) onwards it's genrated on the fly, not played from a file
looks very plain. try a layer with FOX_default.jpg as "contents" as top layer with the "multiply"-setting, it adds the shading to the skin, could help the look of your skin

GT4's Nordschleife looks pretty good, may help you memorizing it. And you can get a pretty well-made add-on for GTR2 (teh evil)

Well, with his half-finished skins here, asking if it is okay to release it, I wanted to suggest working more on one skin intensivly instead of doing several half-assed ones. Of course there is nothing wrong with multiple works at one time, but you should show some effort if you know what I mean
