If you're on the demo you can't skip the long videos. It's advertising itself after all.
If it's crashing try make the in-game screen resolution the same as you have it in Windows if you can get to the game menus. Maybe turn off Vsync as well might stop it crashing. I read somewhere in this thread that someone had issues with changing graphics details levels, and graphics settings for textures/quality other than the default causes the game to crash. But try mess around with them any way, you might find something to work.
The physics always applies equally to all licences. eg: If you get demo, you get the same tyre physics updates as the S3 people.
Imagine joining a S1 server with S2 licence and each car and client has different physics????? Wouldn't work at all. We don't need official "Scawen words" to know this.
Zebediah_S2 - Why would another pedal set take precedence over another? It's just more axis on a DIFFERENT controller. The system counts that as a different.
oncinawhile - you just have to find somewhere to put the old pedal set while it's all hooked up and running. Hide it in a draw of your desk or something. If the ECCI pedals are on a different USB then it should just get picked up as another controller with different axes.
I myself have 3 controllers connected and working. LFS detects all buttons and all axes.
Logitech Wireless PS3 Styled pad USB (4 Axes)
Logitech G25 Wheel USB (4 Axes)
Logitech Attack 3 Flight Joystick USB (3 Axes)
No, I am not Logitech fanboy, it's just because these were the products that best suited what I wanted vs price.

Reason : i is gramma police
He means in LFS go to OPTIONS >> Screen and change the resolution there.
Not much help, but since I am here.
Any way you can SOMETIMES setup the second LCD as the Primary monitor shown in this picture:
edit: Perhaps is not possible with a laptop - I forget now.
I think there's some software that allows this type of thing to be managed between screens. cant remember the name because I never needed it
Does the topic starter realise that this poll is useless because most of the people choosing (regret) are only choosing it because they regret the time that LFS has taken from their life? Either answer can be correct for everyone. Either you regret buying it because you hate LFS and it was a waste of money or regret because you love LFS so much you life has been made less fulfilling, like for example they spend less time with family or social life is missing because of LFS.
People that regret buying LFS because they don't like it are probably not hanging around the forums anyway. The small number voting (regret) I imagine all love LFS to bits, more than life maybe.
@anbiddulph:
Very sorry man. The DLL's were updated to include more options since that first post I believe. But I have included them all into my previous post's attachment. So re-download it again, sorry about that.
OK, but I changed the toggle on/off key to Shift+Backspace because my F12 bind was interferring with enbSerises.
The settings are very similar to velociround's. Maybe a little less bright, (maybe). It's blurry at high speed on purpose. Probably results in nausae and headaches. Race select screen makes the rotating car go a bit blurry.
Game demo actually "runs" fine once on track even on my old'ish 9600GT, but the menu just goes haywire for no reason starts chattering away in the options like DDR. No visual/control settings get saved when you exit the game, I think it does that to force you to watch the game trailer after each race so you can't escape without loosing all the settings - BUT it tells you to restart game to change some graphics options. Freaking annoying man. 1 hour borking about with menus to have three races.
The input lag. Press look back and it takes literally like 1/2 a second to respond. Same goes for steering and pedal input and also when you press pause. Something really whacked-out there, the game runs smooth (indicating PC is ok) so thats just piss poor effort EA.
edit1: Ok RCG Boosted. I'll try turn off Vsync.
edit2: no difference. I'll try force disable vsync in the nVidia profiler.
edit3: still laggin it's arse off, kthxbia
I think the "world class physics" (yes it says that in the never ending sales pitch vid after each demo race) would get a bit old after about a week. Fun for a short time, but soon retired to the shelf. But I guess the upside is the arcade physics + input lag = hard to control type sim eh? It's a shame cause it's nice to look at when the cockpit isn't shaking and giving you a seizure.
It was quite a bargin when I got that, it plays LFS @ 100 FPS+ at max settings and most other things I play at medium or better.
Upgrading soon again maybe. I spent most of my disposable income on a trip interstate to drive a V8-supercar next month, the rest is tied up in shares..
It's taken me a long time to call my rig finished. It still isn't finished, but it's comfortable now.
