Because some people actually enjoy driving a car that has good handling.
Why would you use a ****ing tuner car as a daily driver? It's COMPLETELY ****ing impractical. No ****ing suspension travel, a ****ing ugly bodykit, so ****ing low it can't make it up the driveway...
Looked similar in another video about the karting tho. And what's that when he hits the curbs, those special karting physics we've been hearing about? I mean, come on!
I know i'm trolling a little here, but i'm just disappointed with many of the videos we see about GT5's gameplay. I simply have a bad feeling about it, i expect lots of car porn and weird physics from this game to be honest.
Driving cars on a track should be fun. That's why i take my car to trackdays whenever i can afford it. Because it's mad fun (this inludes driving over the limit, taking corners sideways, etc). If cars would be such a pain in the ass to drive like it looks in GT5 videos, then i wouldn't go to trackdays...
I use an unprotected wireless network called "zyxel" that's been online 24/7 since i moved into my apartment three years ago. I actually just cancelled my contract with my ISP... no need to pay for internet when some noob decides to leave his network unprotected.
No idea about the speed, but it's fast enough for online gaming.
Exactly. In real life, road cars on normal tires (anything that isn't slicks) are much more smooth at the limit in comparison to GT5 (prologue, time attack demo).
IMO, this isn't true (bold part). Played with a G25, there was a huge deadzone in the middle of the steering, but other than that, i can't seem to remember steering lag (and i played it a lot, last time about a year ago). After looking at some GT5 videos recently posted in this thread, i noticed how there still is steering lag. I hate steering lag (Ferrari Challenge and Supercar Challenge have this aswell, same manner as GT5). Enthusia didn't have any (apart from the huge deadzone).
With a controller it's quite frustrating (a little bit like LFS). If you can find an uber cheap PS2 on ebay and can be arsed to take the wheel out of the closet, it's still a great game. Dunno about the game itself, might be selling for way too much nowadays.
