No. Not because LFS isn´t worth my money, totally the contrary, but I just don´t see where you get the idea from that more money means faster development.
As for real life content, it´s not important to me, plus there´s more to getting licenses than just money, there´s too much complications. Who decides which content, Will the funding be even remotely enough to attain licenses? Probably not.
there we go again.
track licensing would cost thousands and thousands of dollars. Accurately modelling the track would take Eric forever, and the track would be worthless in a multiplay oriented racing simulator since noone would drive it. Plus, cars would be so far apart you would probably rarely have any fights.
Creatine is harmless, it's just a supplement and certainly won't kill you. And it can help. It's not like steroids or something.
But these will only help ofcourse when working out
Good food is very important, get lots of proteine. So eat eggs, cottage cheese (as I believe it's called in english), potatoes on a daily basis. There's proteine supplements which you can use right after working out as well.
Just drive a lot of tracks and don't concentrate on one or two tracks trying to get faster there. If you drive a lot of different tracks it will give you a better understanding of the car dynamics. AS GT is popular, but a lot of people never try anything different.
It's only available in multiplayer. But if you want to practice and record your times you could start your own private server and start a practice session. Then it will record your PB's.
I don't want it to stop either, but it has to stop somewhere right? True there will always be stuff to add, but then the devs would be doing this until they go to retirement homes
Plus we would have people complaining that £180 is way too much money for LFS S15
You don't have to be a pro. In fact, I think going online in S2 will help you get faster. The level of racing is higher than on demo servers, so you'll be able to learn from the more experienced guys by following their lines and trying your best to keep up with them.
edit> uhm....yah, oh...I see I'm late and you got your license already...lol
Try to give your renders a more unique feel. TBH, I've seen renders like these a million times. It's easy to tell you're using Ian's scenes and floor material with not much changed.
Try giving it your own twist like by experimenting with making materials and lighting. Because right now it's just a case of changing a skin and choosing an angle. Which is fine if that's all you need, but there's not much to criticise about that.
Yup, and that's why those people aren't developing LFS.
If the devs for instance choose to work with just the three people, that's how they feel most comfortable working, hence it will be good for LFS.
And people can want all they want, but that doesn't mean there's any point in suggesting the devs to work differently as they obviously choose to do it the way they want to, and have stated this numerous times.
Nothing anyone around here says will change that.
IMO the improvement suggestions is meant to suggest improvements to the game (feature wise) and not advising the devs how to work.
If the devs would feel the need to get more people on the job, don't you think they are able to do something about that themselves? They don't need someone on the forum to tell them that.
The coding part is probably the most time consuming of all aspects anyway.
Let's post our computers next. And maybe after that we could post our wheels. And then, and then let's post our monitors, and our bed's and our mum's. The possibilities are endless!
Always nice to see new guys being enthusiastic about LFS the same way I felt when I started
Great to see you licensed already AlienT. Welcome to LFS, hope you'll have a great time
why can't people just accept the approach the devs have taken for LFS? It has been said over and over they don't want more people on board. Period.
Somehow some forum members seem to think they know what's right for LFS better than the devs.
Besides, if an extra coder would be hired, he wouldn't know LFS code as thoroughly as Scawen does, so a lot of time would be spent on just understanding how Scawen does it.
Getting more people doesn't not automatically mean things go faster. There would have to be coordination between the two coders, right now Scawen does all the coordination by himself.
Finally, at least with only Scawen working on the coding, you know what you're getting, which is effective, quality programming.
I'm not saying this to suck up, it's what I truly feel about it.
Seinfeld why are you even here? All I ever see you do is bitch and moan. you are either very arrogant and ignorant or simply quite mentally challenged. you say you're fine with how the devs choose to work yet you continue saying they should do it differently. why don't you do a lot of us a favor and leave. I wouldn't waste my time on a game i don't believe in. You're wasting forum bandwith and people's time with your whinging. kthxbi.
Oh my, that's REALLY nice, amazing work
A red version would be nice but this definitely looks great already.
The steering wheel lookf awesome too, looking forward to it
