Don't worry, you playing around with a client insim app will not affect the servers insim app.

Actually, I did not "copy" CLC, I just made something along the same lines, due to the reason that there were a few things that I did not enjoy about CLC. Also, I am a programmer, and I enjoy making things!

If we keep bothering the devs for a stupid bug fix, the new patch will never manage to make it out.

About the InSim: LTC InSim has connected fine, its being tested on LTC3 atm. I cannot connect myself, as I dont have LFS at work :P

its not the emergency software doing it, its his numpad on the laptop. its built into the right hand half of the keyboard, and you have to press "numlock" to enable it. So K would be 6, or something like that.

afaik a standard forum member cannot close threads - regardless of who created it.
Also - LFS does not have a track/car editor released - official or unofficial. No ifs, buts or maybe's.

In my honest opinion if someone cannot code for themselves then they should not run a server, especially a "Cruise" server.
At the end of the day, you will have to maintain the InSim application, create/add/edit features of the game.
I really think that there needs to be less "omg i want a cruise insim application" threads in here. If you cannot make an application you obviously don't have the knowledge required.

I've simply added in a script into my InSim Application that realises its lost connection.
It then attempts to reconnect 3 times (with a 20 second gap), if it fails to connect the application then reloads the LFS.exe with the correct configuration file - then reconnects to the InSim protocol.
I know its not a "fix", but its atleast a part time solution!
