I just thought it would be easier for people that don't know what they are doing as such.

Without even having to install PHP on their system or anything like that.

I will just code it in PHP and release it open source.

if you're using WINE to run the server, you can use WINE for the insim app to.

I am planning on releasing an InSim applicaton, and I don't wanna code it in VB.

Is there anyway of compiling a PHP Script (must be PHP5) to an executable? I have found software that converts PHP4.4.4 to an Executable, but not PHP5

I get the feeling that the whole auto kick/spec thing, is disabled in practice mode, because its designed to create layouts and/or if you wanna go backwards, to retake the corner while "practicing". Dunno though!

It will take me a couple of days, as LTC is higher on my lists. Although, I may take tonight away from LTC, so I can create this project! Maybe even totally open source, but not sure!

was about to post that, then realised that I was too late

there is no error message or anything like that on my servers either.

The insim is running, with no errors (only a insim disconnection).

The LFS.exe totally crashes out..

I thought artifacts could happen if the drivers were f00ked?

Atleast, when I had that with one of my old graphics cards and BF2 - i just done a nice re-install of the nvidia drivers, and it sorted it right out.

Maybe it could be overheating as well though, just double check that the fan is spinning right I guess. If it is, and its still overheating, stuck a floor fan pointing at ya PC :P haha!

I've got a few idea's on this as well.

When typing in part of the server name, after it gets to 6 letters, it should bring up a little... drop down seclection of partial matches. So the users can then select the one that they would like.

Another good thing, would be a favourties system, so that you can add the server that you love to your fave list of servers, then you dont have to keep refreshing the whole god damn server list just to find the server that you wanna join, without having to remember its server name.

Also, another little pet peeve of mine is the fact that the demo racers can use the IP address of the server to join it and yet the S2 racers cannot use this feature. This would be handy for servers that change their name from time time to (maybe a race event server, that the race event name changes or whatever).

Also, as an extention to the partial server name dropdown, have a dropdown that shows the last 10 servers that you have joined or something. Maybe a configurable amount?

Oh yeah, and for the find user online feature, there should also be a fave list for that too, that you could add your team mates or your friends on it. And rather than seeing one user at a time there should be a "where are my friends playing" or something. and it would show each person, and their stats about that particular server (track, cars, laps, etc)..

Are you sure that you have it enabled? Try unticking it, saving the settings, and then reticking it. Dunno, long shot there but not sure.

Are you sure that you're completling the race? afaik auto save replays only save once the final race position's are in! (not 100% sure of this one either)

can't say that I have ever used this setting. But what you have done looks like it is correct.

Once the server has loaded, try putting it in, as a command. Maybe for some reason its not loading it correctly from the cfg file

after that, you can call them patches :P. Rather then alpha updates :P.

How much more will S2 licence holders have to pay, once S3 is out?

Why dont you just do a /cars ROAD or whatever, on the insim launch?

are any of the above servers, using the insim relay at all? have it connected?

surly if it was the master server, it would have killed all servers? Not just a select few, and not all lf LTC's at once?

thats what i'm using at the moment, but it gets attacked by spam a lot more than vbulletin software does

I really wish that there was a free version of v-bulletin. Like, a lite version or something.
