^ More like 1 week, people would just make more and more accounts. I like the idea of it though.

Quote from TheGianfry909 :I was installing insim but it gave me a problem

I didn't understand much of what you were trying to say, but either way. You might wanna contact LFS Support for this. Also, once you're there. Ask them if insims are compitable with their service, I can remember someone on here saying it wasn't possible. I could be wrong.

Quote from BeNoM :Why would you want FXR setups if you don't have access to that car in the demo?

Maybe clayton is saving up some setups for later when he's going to buy it? Or he's getting some setups for his friend? Or maybe, in reality he meant XRG. Uhmm

After reading the entire thread, there's really no need to keep asking for the updates. It comes when it comes. I bet the devs are having nightmares about some of these comments Rofl

Quote from Bose321 :He obviously doesn't have a clue how to make it. And InSimDotNet isn't a language.

I didn't say that. By languages OP can use any of them out there.
Now: Easiest way to go would be C# and InSimDotNet
Where C# is a language and InSimDotNet is a library.
Can I get a medal now?

EDIT: I'm pretty bad at really saying what I'm trying to say (building up sentences).

Hey.

Do you have any ideas of what sort of language to make this insim with?
From the looks of it, InSimDotNet is the way to go!

There are many examples here on the forum Smile Use the search function!
Find the InSimDotNet thread and use that, thats the most up-to-date library for LFS Smile

EDIT:
The easiest way to make an insim (if you're new to it), is downloading some of the open source insims and converting them to InSimDotNet.

Imagine if there were 12 custom views + the other views in LFS.

"v-v-v-v-v-v-v-v-v-v-v, oh shit. shift+v"
Constantly having to press V. What i mean is, bind custom view 5 to number 5 on the numpad would go straight to custom view 5.

Also binding custom views to specific buttons would be nice.

Hey.

If you're just fairly new at this.. There are open source codes you could have a quick look at, just to see how packets and functions are set up. You can find them in the quote

Quote from sinanju :Use the Search facility, but be prepared to wade through hundreds of posts to try find what you want.
Some old insims to give you a flavour of what you need to know (although they may not use the most current InSim protocol.

LFS Manual - Programming
Example Cruise Server
Open Source Cruise Server
.NET (C#) - [LsGO] Cruise Mod (LifeStyleCruiseGamersOrganization)
Cruise InSim
LFSLapper Cruise

Later on, you can start your own insim from scratch using the InSim.NET Library.

Good luck Smile

What? I don't think the developers spend their free time browsing the forum looking for people to ban (if thats what you mean?).

You come to the forum. You post a nice suggestion, nothing wrong with that. You get feedback from other users and you start insulting them. Great, just great.

Quote from theblackrabbi :dude the tracks were perfect last time I was a hardcore player and that was like 15 years ago Smile LFS should just stay like it is...it's the great sim of the early 2000s! Better than most of the crap that comes out these days.

I don't think anyone that hasn't driven a car can say what a good car simulator really is like. What physics are meant to feel like (you're completely right, new 'sims' are trash compared to LFS).

Quote from Skinzinho :To me? Because I'm talking to another player in this board about this subject?! I didn't start this thread, didn't ask anything to Scawen, and I enforce that I don't care about developing priorities.

If Scawen's message was really to me, so Scawen please do us a favor and remove me as a reseller.

Not to be rude in any way, but I literally smashed my head so hard in my desk as I read your comment. As a reseller, you act like a 6 year old with a big mouth. Even IF he meant you, it wouldn't necessarily mean he'd revoke your rights and ban you lmao Big grin

I don't think most people think before they speak. Not only are you working on something for LFS, but each one of the devs also have a LIFE to live. A family to care for. I usually just ignore these posts, the fact that the devs are still developing LFS is just amazing. Keep it up Smile

Thought I'd maybe update this thread a bit. The journey has sadly come to an end and I won't be able to do these giveaways anymore, congrats to those that actually got a free license. For those that didn't win, its really not that much for 1 license Smile. Save up and get one! :^)

Quote from FLVX :Does this still going on? if it does, then i wanna join the giveaway. I actually never been to a server before because i have a crappy internet. It does get boring driving around Blackwood, revisit the tutorial and stuff.

2 days of playing, must be very boring :/
