I use Fraps for a recording software. When I'm alone I get anywhere from 80-90 frames a second, and when I record it drops to 12 or so. This seems like a ridiculous drop and I was wondering if there's any setting changes or fixes for the problem.
I'm currently working on a pre-Kyoto 500 preparation video, so I thought people organizing / viewing this forum would think that's cool and whatnot.
I would also like to thank Josephs, NDR, anybody else that organized the 250 and my team mates for getting me into the event. I believe you have turned me into what is known as an "Oval Junkie", and I rather enjoy the entire scene.
Regards,
LazLoW
EDIT: Video is for the most part done... intro and outro to do...
EDIT: Works pretty good, just need messages for different situations, like if you're in last, or in first, maybe it shows both of the drivers times in front/behind you.
I laughed, it's pretty good, but I agree with the opening post, (about the crap singing) :P But this would be crazy cool if the singing was stepped up and was well recorded.
Just save up imo, I've noticed that LFS isn't demanding at all. In fact, I have an AMD 3000+ and a GeForce 6200 (both very budget) and I get at least 50 frames. (Less with a full grid of course.)
@ luftrofl, I did check that topic, and it helps slightly, but I agree with Mista and you where it's merely a skill problem. I've downloaded a few sets, so I'll try 540 degrees.
Off of setup topic, but, will learning the RB4 first jeopardize my XRT future?
Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me out with something. I'm a beginner driver with my G25 and I want to get back into drifting. I've noticed that I'm not half-bad with the RB4, but I'm still having problems, and I think it's in the set. I'll give you an example of my problem.
Approaching the S curves in Blackwood reverse, I take the first corner fine, then to flick back to go in the other direction, I give it too much, and I spin out.
This isn't just S curves, but this happens in a lot of other corners too. Do you have any drifting, or set advice that might help me?
Ohh, I completely forgot to sub in the turbo lag part. I knew about the gearbox situation, just wasn't sure how much of a difference though. But, check this.
I did a lap on AS3 with both the XRR and the FZR, both with the WR sets.
I was like O.O when I saw the results because my XRR time was 7.5 seconds faster, before any restrictions.
I'm slightly new to my G25, but that's still quite the result.
I don't quite understand how this works.
They both have the same HP per tonne, the XRR has more torque, and does longer stints.
Enlighten me how the FZR is faster?
