Vegas decided to screw up on me, so the video is postponed at the current time. I should be able to work on it within the next week, and it will be near release time.
EDIT: Vegas completely crashed, video postponed for a long time.
I fixed it! I realised I was getting around 39 FPS ingame, and I was like "Wtf?!". I was playing around in the Misc. Options and found sometihng called "Minimum sleep." No idea what it does, but it somehow affects my FPS. It's in a milliseconds variable, between 20 and 1.
20 - 39 FPS
1 - 120 FPS!
Putting minimum sleep on one puts my recording FPS at 24, which is 48 FPS doubled.
My brother is gonna sell me his rig for 250 bucks.
Hmm, well if you can't place other items, make sure you hit space so you can see the menu. At the top of the list at the bottom you should see "Place Objects", this should be ON.
Now, at the top right there should be different menu's. I can't remember it off hand but just search them and try to find jump/ramp, can't remember what it's called.
I would think the most obvious problem would be drivers / Direct X.
My brother-in-law had a problem with his 7600GT freezing in games. Maybe you have a similar problem just less intense, so maybe it's a hardware problem instead.
If you have spare parts, try swapping stuff back and forth to see if you can narrow a problem down. (Try a different video card vs. hard drive / RAM or etc. be creative.)
I believe he means ping, because he drops after 10 seconds.
If you're on a router/HUB and have someone else on the network, make sure they're not using up your bandwidth. Also make sure any bandwidth using programs are turned off, and you're not Torrenting or seeding with Limewire etc.
I use Fraps for a recording software. When I'm alone I get anywhere from 80-90 frames a second, and when I record it drops to 12 or so. This seems like a ridiculous drop and I was wondering if there's any setting changes or fixes for the problem.
I'm currently working on a pre-Kyoto 500 preparation video, so I thought people organizing / viewing this forum would think that's cool and whatnot.
I would also like to thank Josephs, NDR, anybody else that organized the 250 and my team mates for getting me into the event. I believe you have turned me into what is known as an "Oval Junkie", and I rather enjoy the entire scene.

LazLoW
EDIT: Video is for the most part done... intro and outro to do...
