after a fresh install of windows I think they're botched man. Either look up a failure of the pedals on google or something, maybe there's a hardware fix (take it apart, etc.) but I wouldn't recommend opening it unless the warranty's finished.
I have a 7600 GT myself and have no problems. My brother-in-law has problems with his though. Graphics work fine but games freeze like crazy...
Anyhow dude, if you got a job I say buy a DFP or a G25 if at all possible.

USB headset? Unless it has a mic, never heard of such thing. Perhaps buy a cheap pair of over the head headphones that go into a typical sound jack.
I know it's 100% possible but I can't remember how, sorry. It's kinda complicated but Google a program called Joy2Key (or variations) if you can figure it out I think it will do what you need it to.

What about the /laps command as an admin? Does it automatically round it to the nearest tenth after 100? If so then that should definitely be removed,
A lot of that went over my head but if somebody has access to a dyno and a couple cars sounds like an awesome idea to me.

Did you install it to a different location as before? If it's the same and asks you to overwrite files say "Yes to All."

To the right of the far left tyres temps in F9, there should be a CT bar. That stands for clutch temperature. If you're in the red that means your clutch is hot and you can accelerate all you want but the car won't move. This means you're shifting up or down wrong.
Have you tried unplugging it from the USB then plugging it back in, or restarting your computer since Patch Z? Try either.
Check if "Report combined pedals" in the Logitech Profiler is checked. If it is uncheck it. In the options menu of LFS go to controls, make sure the throttle/brake axis are seperate. You should also see buttons 1, buttons 2, etc until you see Axis, click on that tab. If you push your brake/gas/clutch you should see axis bars on the right moving. Click on the control you want to assign to which axis, then click on the axis.

I think the line up idea is extremely inefficient and this was proved in the 250. The fifth guy back gets cold as tyres and therefore a worse time. I think this method is unfair and should be.. erm.. changed.
