He's calm, he's cool, gives a usable opinion and doesn't bash me right away. Eldanor, thanks for the opinion and yes, it is fun, but to XCNuse, this is exactly what I think is unrealistic and I think it would be a cool idea to put specific parts on with limitations, so building a drag car would be difficult, picking the right parts for the job, rather than making the CC's 9000 and you're pretty much done.

Wow. I thought SOME PEOPLE would think this is an alright idea. NFS? Are you retarted? Did I say body kits? Nos? Street racing? No, read the context. NFS doesn't even have specific parts to buy like turbo's and carburetors and whatnot. I thought this was a realistic suggestion to make this "sim" more "sim"like but you just gotta bash it and move on.

This.... "running joke" goes too far and gets too many people angry. I've heard his excuse, so have many of you as well. Whatever. I think it just needs to stop. This "running joke" wears down after 3 or 4 years.
I'm not saying its unrealistic. I'm saying that punching in numbers to make your car a horsepower beast is unrealistic.

Dev's can change stuff. But the managers aren't going to revamp Kyoto Ring National because someone on a video game forum says its wrong. lol think realistically, calling out the managers of the track and schumacker, (totally spelled wrong but whatever)

Why do you people have to bash the goddamned Demo Racer. I know Cr!t!cal, he's a good guy, and he wants to make a suggestion on how he thinks the game should be, and you tell him to go fckin buy S2.

LFS Tweak Idea?
I'm not sure if this forum supports addon suggestion but I'll give it a shot.
I was testing out LFS Tweak, with my XRT with huge rims and 1100 horsepower and I thought, this is way too unrealistic.
Maybe LFS Tweak could use a different program, and make a realistic addon program. Where it lists all the parts you can add onto your car. Bigger PSI turbos, intercoolers, anything you could addon to your car to make it bigger, and faster, without means of pushing 9000 CC Engine for a 1000 horsepower unrealistic beast. Catch my drift?

Some other games based on this engine would be cool. D1GP games, Forumla D, a Gran Turismo knockoff, a Ricer Street Racer like NFS with crazy physics. Like you said its still in beta, and if anyone offered they would probably say its incomplete.
WWD Drift Competition
Hey! If this belongs somewhere else Moderators please move it, I couldn't find any other forums that this fell under.
I, Torque, decided to make a competition in affiliation with the WWD team. These competitions will be held every Saturday, with a specific time not yet planned.

The competition works like this.
1. If it is a custom layout or a short set of the track, while everyone is spec'ing I will show them the route.
2. There will be a 5 minute practice run before the qualifiers.
3. Qualifiers will work like so:
We will go down the connection list for the order of qualifications.
Everyone that is not qualifying will vote on the current qualifier, voting from 1-10 on speed and angle.
If the qualifier spins out / crashes they will have ONE redo.
4. After I crunch the numbers I will determine the first heat battles.
The battles work like so:
a) There will be 2 rounds, 1 person will lead, then switch.
b) if someone spins they will be automatically disqualified from the round
c) If the judges vote 1 for one person and 1 for the other there will be a tie breaker, determining the winner.
After the first heat we will move to the 2nd, or Semi-Finals, depending on the number of competitors. This round will work just like the first.
We will do this until it narrows down to 2 people. The winner of the heat takes the Gold.
Head to the website to register for the competition if you're interested. Once registered you will be PM'd the Host Name & Password for the event.

Heres one of my first attempts. I used the FZ50_ProKit form master skinners, and took the XRT_Vielside skin and tried my best to convert it to FZ5.
I didn't do the rear end because that was the easiest solution without completely re-doing the skin.
Below you will find it (It is PUBLIC so use it if you wish) and the original XRT_Vielside skin.

Hmm... odd events...
I would say check your firewall, router, modem, Network Connections, but as Downloads and MSN is fine, I'm up in the air on this one,

That happens to me with iTunes.(When iTunes changes songs, it mixes the end with the beginning and lags ANY game I'm in) Try shutting off all processes taking up CPU power (except for the essentials of course, like explorer.exe, winlogon.exe, etcetera) and see if that solves your problem. And continually reformatting won't help either.

Man I wouldn't complain. I'm running a GeForce 6600 a 256 AGP card. thats AGP. I get 80 frames in SP and 50 in Multi-Player. The framerate is FINE I don't even see the difference of 50 frames as long as its above 40, if that makes sence lol
