In very easy words, if your 64-bit processor is in 32-bit mode (Using 32-bit Windows Vista for example), then it can sum 2 32-bit numbers with one go, but in 64-bit mode can sum 2 64-bit numbers at one go. So, there is no difference in perfomance if a program only wants to sum 2 numbers equal to or less than 32-bits. And most programs don't support 64-bit either.

Quote from the e rocker :I'm pretty sure it couldn't be the space station because since a couple of days ago i have been going out every night to watch it and it moves quite quickly and it isn't red.

No, some satellites are in "one position", it means they move so they look like their standind still from the earth. Ever wondered why Satellite TV antennas are allways pointed in one direction?

As some have said.. it happens.

About those saying there should be absolutely NO death sentences.. I think that opinion is wrong.. a maniac goes and kills 50 people and you do what? Just put him in the prison where he can live for free until the end of his life.

@theirishnoob - by your actions in this thread I think you should be given a ban not for 5 days, but at least a month.. that was unbeliavable.

+2, on a second thought, this should be a must for every program.

I recommend a underground unofficial movie/video called "Ghost Rider" to [motorcycle] speeding fans, they drive up to the speed of 300 km/h in Stockholm (I guess it's stockholm)

Definately foobar - does exactly what it tells - plays music + some little nifty plugins etc. which I don't use. Winamp fans will start talking about organizing their music - I don't find it useful at all, Artist/Album/CD/Song is allways good enough for me.

And axus is right - 192 kbs MP3 is good enough for a PC - when listening music from CDs and a decent set, then higher quality is usually better (that's depending on the music tough)

Oh, and WMP is one of the worst things avaiable, I'm not absolutely sure about audio, but VIDEO is really horrible with that thing.

Quote from CSU1 :...yeah I used to use Opera widgets but they use a lot of mem, sadly too do the vista ones 100k at times!

Can't confirm that, works nicely using UP to 1 MB.

Quote from Bob Smith :Jakq - Use Foxit PDF reader, just 1.3MB. Saves installing that Abobe bloatware.

Exactly, the only problem with it is very complex pages (Flying charts for example with lots and lots of information)

The start command is unecessary (check the docs/command.txt), in case you want to restart the race, write /restart and a session/race can only be active when someone is in the server.

Quote from the_angry_angel :The OpenMoko phone (read: Neo1973) is due for mass market release at the end of the year. The OpenMoko platform is already installable on a number of phones.

The Neo1973 final [Phase 2] hardware will be released, but I doubt the software will be ready before at least half a year.

Yep

Rene,

This is Vic from feelThere. My support guy told me you raised some concern about our activity about LFS. We have a deal with the LFS Folks and it's all OK. We are working with them and selling their product with their permission.

Best regards

Victor
(who's also fan of racing and flying )

ps.: are you an F1 fan as well?

Quote from mrodgers :From the thread linked earlier in this thread, a quote from Feelthere.....

I'm against anything that someone portrays as their own that isn't their own.

Nope, that was from AVSIM, a flying community, probably their news section.

Quote from FOGlegsy :close.... and no i havnt tried it

http://www.busdrivergame.com/

Thanks

EDIT: Tried it, it's pretty good, the overall driving is fine, looks good, but it's still too arcadey - some stupid points system and only chase view, if anyone knows another realistic city driving game with other vehicles (This is the only thing RoR lacks), where you can drive something big, please share..

Quote from dadge :what a statement. did you know that 90% of child abusers drive cars? that makes nearly every 16-80 yo potential abusers. what a stupid statement to make.

YOU MADE A MISTAKE. 50% of child abusers watch anime not 50% of anime watchers are child abusers. And your statement also means the same.. if 90% of car drivers would be child abusers where would the world get..
