Not a huge deal but if I want to add AI to an online server they should know the track first: like it has to be done offline race then it is OK online. Otherwise you cannot be Ready...
Yeah I know that suspension models in LFS are not perfect with some simplifications. I have done a serious race with the first version and the handling and force feedback are good. Changing might be risky. But you can try without releasing...
Well I don't like it too much.
The power band is extremely narrow it stalls at what, 5000rpm? If you play sequential auto clutch then you can have like 20% autoclutch around 4000 or 4500rpm, that's insane. As the clutch overheat easily you have to lift a lot but try to be above 5500rpm and still the engine feels empty there.
The front wheels are not rubbing the wheel arches they are literally through them.
The front suspension gives force feedback in the correct direction, that's cool. But I suspect extreme caster settings as the front feedback is extremely heavy for a car this light. Consequence it is very heavy at low speed but you can correct by reducing ffb, but on bumps it oscillates madly it feels like shimmy. Shimmy in real life feels like you are going to die (or at least are going to crash), it should not happen on a well maintained car (usually comes from dead shock absorber and bad joints in the suspension, but i can also happen on some frequency, here I think caster and suspension are not playing along too well).
Small issue the thumbnail is way too small it looks like a RC car...
There is a lot of potential in this car but as is, I cannot enjoy too much.
Edit:I have done a scale Up by 60% (keeping same image size) or a cut (image is smaller). If you want top quality send me a bigger file I can scale it and resize.
Si quieres te lo puedo comentar en español aun que estoy menos tecnico con terminos de coches.
Edit2:When setting gearbox perfectly for each track using a lot first gear then yes the engine starts to be interesting. Still feels a bit weak on the low end but why not.
Well I was not thinking about the stance version. But it could work with like 6cm instead of current 8cm minimum. At the cesav race last time most fast set were lowered almost to the max available.
I tried to reproduce it again and I failed. The VR headset axis were visibly assigned to look axis yaw and pitch in control menu which is normally hidden and view was indeed linked to headset position.
But I can't reproduce it so let's forget it.
I have found another small issue.
3D is on. Launch LFS.
switch to 2D views.
Look axis are still asigned to VR axis and it can be a problem.
For exemple if you go straight to a replay now you see that the view is bad and only way to change it is to exit replay menu then go to option controls and unassign look axes. I know how to do it but some people will struggle on first time.
Suggested correction when switching 3D view to 2D view. Unassign VR look axis.
Other workaround less clean would be to allow remove axis within replay menu. but it is less nice imho.
Not huge priority but it would be nice. i might not be the only one who watch replay in 2D and play in 3D.
Yesterday I had TC on because I was with City setup and you cannot change it by button...
I could not stuck it today.
Default setups are pretty bad between 3 and 4 too much gap.
City and Road are inverted on final drive ratio. City should have a higher drive ratio: More torque and less top speed. Currently city tops out in fourth gear, the other goes to the max in 5 gear.
FFB is heavy (like too heavy) on turning but I don't feel much bump anyway. But the force are in the good direction which is good at least.
Did you remove the dirty skin? I could not put it today...
Just for info, I have the following controllers in my MISC folder (I had some controllers from 2006...) directory that are gamepads:
Controller_XBOX_360_For_Windows
Controller_Xbox_360_Wireless_Receiver_for_Windows
I tried yesterday. Nice work the interior is nicely detailed.
I guess I am not a bus driver but trying at AS2 I had some fun on almost a lap. Then after a speed killer last turn the engine was weird. Kind of blocked at 2k rpm. Clutching or changing gear did not work great either. Strange I don't know it is LFS or mod related. Maybe the slow reving engine is glitching the game...
Ffb is heavy yes but we'll it is a bus...
Mod columns are great.
For some reason I had no thumbnail on Toyate Supraze.
What about a 3wheelers filter?
Still have a lot of difficulty showing virtual keyboard in VR in mod menu ...
It is going the good way thanks for the good work.
The mods seems to be popular. The car is good looking, but the FFB feels extremely strange to me. At slow speed it wants to turn more. Sometimes with strange caster setting or strange front settings this happens...
I could not find or tweak a setup to enjoy it.
