I tried again. I compared value between cars everything looks stable maybe even too much. Anyway going out of the pits feels insane and the force feedback feels backwards. Then at speed the ffb is heavy but in the correct direction. It is driveable and enjoyable.
It is strange but the car is good.

I am pretty sure there is something off that makes the reaction going the wrong way. I wish this car to handle right. It is nice with ffn off.

I am surprised by PopnLochNessMomnster because I tried yesterday night... I don't know if I did not receive the update or what but the suspension is not stable. The force feedback is pulling the wheel away from center. If I turn right the wheel puts more force to the right. Not driveable with FFB on. Wheel offset looks odd negative offset. It might be just one parameter off.

I am not a big fan about the car look (personal taste no offence). But it is a fun nervous car to drive on the RX track!

Nice work. I think that most original work end up best rated than tweak mods... So yeah people notice the hard work!

Very pleasant to drive. I went manual clutch and shifter and damn that was fun (even if slower than sequential). I did not hear too much the tires squeal maybe I should check my sound option.
I would not mind another one with atmospheric engine and less power.
Overall excellent.

Édit: I need some skin with handwritten Cammera on the lower door 😎

Wow cd and cassette player nice! I hope it also has extra cd charger in the trunk! ;-) RB4 is looking much better thanks for the update.

I had also noticed some buttons numbers changed but I thought it was because I had added some peripherals... Not a priority at all but the button numbering is not very clear. Like if I have for example horn button 864, I would rather have 3-012 3 being my wheel controller. I try to play lfs with the same setup all the time, but if there is one more extra (joystick gamepad, whatever), I have to remap because it shifts the buttons or axes... No big deal to keep it like this anyway.

Oh yeah! Let's cross finger and hope they can do magic someday!
Current capacity of modeller for weird 4 wheelers?

I wonder if lfs is currently capable of modeling weird 4 wheelers like diamond shaped car.
For example Man-TX https://www.alain-deveze.com/man-tx?lang=en
Or older stuff like: Gordon-Diamond https://www.nasshan.com/en/autocult/ac06007-gordon-diamond-sedan-1949-usa

I would also love to see that one on ovals: Kenny Reece Supermodified 3-1 https://drivetribe.com/p/uneven-speed-kenny-reeces-1979-Yzkjb-AeT9WwdrXcf0_cFQ?iid=Wll256hGTHKVmnNFups4ng

And on a different note is there any wild trike in the work? https://s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/cdn.motorbikemag.es/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/5d2b8425-67a0-4160-b91e-890a04320a72.jpg

Well I think it has more to do with the spindle geometry than the overall suspension. Caster and wheel offset have a huge impact here.

That looks nice. Having the mapping mask and shadow is the first step for a good skin, so I am all in for that. Looks like you are managing to hide the seams, so that is perfect. Skins that are done fast without shadow are usually fast pbrush jobs, it can be ok, but will lack some finesse.
Anyway I hope you can finish this new version and enjoy some quality time for christmas!

I tried yesterday without the bodywork. Handling is good but for some reason the wheels did not appear, only their shadow...

It is extremely fun to race on short races. I kill my tire smiling! Yummy!

I see online a lot of picture where your wheels size looks right. But would be interesting on narrow and bigger tire like 13 or 14 rims and not much width, like ice wheels...

FFB is extremely heavy with a lot of torque steer.
Interesting car overall!

FFB feels extremely soft.
Other than that it is a really nice car!

I tried the hard track basic setup yesterday at fr rallyxgreen and it was a pleasure to drive.

No crash so far.
Yesterday I got annoyed testing the drag mods at the drag strip. I set a server with no restriction (I mean reset allowed mods allowed and so on). There is a restriction like too soon to restart. Come on it is a less than 10s race! Could these restriction be easily removed either by host option or by detecting drag strip and adapting?
Not urgent but definitely something to look at.

Would it be possible to have an unrealistic variant without the windshield?

Quote from Jake_Blasted :I know Frown no way around it since you cant have aerodynamics be contributed to configuration sets.. Just like tire sizes cant be changed with different configurations either which is another thing i ran into on the P1 and the Phoenix. ( I just turn off the wing aero if im rocking the early spec Wink )

For me I would do 3 cars like p166 p174 p180. I understand you want to keep it neat. But this way you can run aero for Monaco in the no wing version. Bad trick!

New test. Some thoughts.
You say you are V11 but LFS shows it as #13 no big deal.
Engine is better but still with a big kick.
Are these tires sizes used with this kind of engine? I feel there is much more power than grip. I did a quick search but I did not find anything well documented. My guess is that maybe these wheels are used on less powerfull buggys.
Front suspension: I would narrow the inside attach points. Usually front is as narrow as two feet, also lower triangles are even closer to the center. The hubs are too much inside the wheels, with such small wheels there is not much room to put them that deep.
Brake balance 75%? I did not try yet to lower it but I lock my front tires very easily. Again don't know how much braking torque these tire and small dics can handle.
45 degrees wheel angle might be interesting for test and drifting, but feeling was already much better by going down to 30degrees...

Well as for tires there currently cannot be any miracle. LFS has radial tyres a bit flawed... Frag tires are a world by themselves with some diagonals some radials and some special mix...

I tried it yesterday night at FE rallyxgreen.
I don't know how are the power curves IRL but it is not very easy on engine driveability. I mean not much torque and then big kick around 5K rpm, that kind of spins the wheels all the time. Again it might be my poor driving skills, might be interesting for better pilots.
The grill works OK in VR but I am glad I can remove it, I feel better without.
I should try again maybe at blackwood rallycross where I feel the track better.
Nice work anyway.
