Certainly the trailer looks very good. I personally have never been a fan of the series due to the fact that I haven't owned a console since 2000 when I sold my psx.

Graphics as usual look very good and the rain effects look nice too. I was a bit surprised to see bikes racing on snow covered roads but I guess its not a realistic sim so its ok. Looks good fun but it will only be really fun if you can knock people off their bikes like in EA'S superbikes 2001. I always laughed when I caused an accident and took down 8+ riders and then they all started sprinting back to their bikes hehehehe...

PGR4 looks nice!

Why would extra content ruin a game? Surely the previous version of PGR did not have bikes so this version should simply add to the fun. It will give people a new experience and possibility to race a different machine rather than 4 wheels. You can always choose NOT to pick the bikes if you don't like them.

Thanks for the comments, sorry that I haven't released it yet. I have been trying to sort out my computer after it was infected with a virus, haven't really had time to work on it.

The images were tricky to get, first I started using google earth and was putting together the word map using screenshots which was tremendously tedious and time consuming so I again tried to search for a hi resolution world map. Just by chance I have stumbled upon this

It is a very detailed and hi resolution map, I then played around with it in photoshop to bring out some of the ocean details just like they have on the Honda car. Its not exactly the same but its close enough. I found the Honda livery earth map way too green which looks unrealistic. I mean they have a green Sahara desert so I just left the default colours which look a lot more realistic.....

You say there are 1.4 billion cow type animals, there are nearly as many cars in the world than that each car chucking out co2 and other pollutants. Cows don't fart constantly 24/7 as people don't drive cars 24/7 but I am sure humans still create more pollution than some cow.

Couldn't agree more on that, there are definitely too many people and with the predictions predicting that we will have 9 billion by the end of the century then there will be problems. Human population needs to be limited but the problem is religion teaches people to be fruitful and to multiply so i don't see a limit on the ammount of children any time soon....

I just read this headline on yahoo they gotta be joking. Yes cow emits a lot of methane but no way is it doing more damage to the environment than cars and human activity. Why do people always try to blame something else apart from themselves!

I was just wondering, does anyone know if its possible for msn to use firefox rather than ie when you click the little mail icon? Every time I click it it loads up ie and takes me to my hotmail inbox but i would very much prefer if it used firefox.

I voted for the forced cockpit views even though I use custom views on some cars.

I think it will make some people learn how to drive properly.

Not an issue for me, good drivers will adapt to anything..

Personally I think that is it a good feature even though I myself on some cars use custom views as the cockpits are just horrible and awkward to drive with. Hopefully fixed soon

I think though that if you are a good driver then you can race with any view available, you just have to adjust. I do hope thought that not all servers will suddenly jump on the fixed cockpit view band wagon and that some servers will remain unrestricted...

+1 also goes to the suggestion above to have some moveability of the camera when in the cockpit. Just like GTR has it available.

It was a rather enjoyable race actually. Massa's stall was frustrating but it was good to see him come through the grid. Kimi drove very well and deserved the victory. Hamilton just seemed to have burned out, now we will really see what he is made off when things aren't going too well for him and he actually has to fight for places.

Most impressive drive for me was from Robert Kubica, he managed to keep a Ferrari behind him for 11 laps and finish 4th! A great drive....

James Allen really needs to shut up though! grrr that guy is so irritating sometimes. I am surprised Martin puts up with the useless drivel and does just smack him one!

Here is a first quick test render that I have just done to see my latest skin creation. Yes.. its the Honda 07 earth skin. It is still a work in progress as you can see from the render, some of the countries do not line up on certain parts of the car so that needs fixing.

Apart from that I think it is starting to take shape nicely..

Will also edit the scene slightly as the basic scene setups have way too much shine, horrible wheels and badly setup shadows! white floor is also horrible!

Very good qualifying session, action packed towards the end. Kimi's lap with that error would have blown Hamilton away! I was very surprised to see Ralf Schumacher in p6, a good effort from him after what has been a terrible season for him and Toyota. Lets hope he doesn't take anyone one out at t1

I second that! An old game now but still very playable and quite challenging. Definitely worth a play! It has been one of my longest installed computer games.

I fully support it, I do not want to breathe in other peoples smoke. I see most smokers are selfish in that they don't give a monkeys about anyone else around them when they smoke. I am glad now they have to take it outside where they can smoke all they want.

Finally an honourable video for the drivers who have died with like ATC points out appropriate music. Some of those crashes are trully horrific.

you should be able to get to within at least 1 to 1.5 seconds of the world lap record. That would be good pace, the last second is always the hardest to find and requires a perfect lap.

Few days ago I was racing the FOX at South City Town a combo that I have never raced. After my first ten laps i was doing 1.18s (wr is 1.12.3) I thought to myself christ!!!, where the hell are they making the time up as I thought i was doing perfect laps. Over time thought I was able to find more speed and learn how to take certain corners and gradually reduced my time down to 1.15 after 50 laps or so. It is still way off the world record but i found 3 seconds which I thought were never there!! With more practise and track time I am sure i will gradually get use to the fox and find the extra 1-2 seconds to get into the 1.13s at least. I would be happy then :P

it may look and seem impossible but its not. You just need to practise and find how to take certain corners fast. Practise makes perfect
