Yeah i remember watching a program on global cooling last year which is caused by global dimming. If i remember correctly after the 9/11 attacks when the planes were grounded in the USA they got some interesting measurements. They found that the days were hotter and nights cooler.

Over the whole Nascar series, it is estimated that 2 million US gallons (7.57 million litres) fuel is burned which is quite a huge number.

Thing is people would ban everything these days if it does harm to anything and anyone, certainly though we need to curb our consumption of oil world wide....

I mean airliners burn a huge amount of fuel too so lets just ban them

Yeah I also watched the race, the tyres were a really silly idea putting them so close to the chicanes. It reminded me of LFS with people running through the tyres and causing accidents. I personally have had a number if accidents from tyres hitting my car when some n00b runs through them behind me.

Onto Mr Plato..... well ever since Toca 1 (the game) i never liked him he was always a n00b in the game as he is in real life. He is has terrible race etiquette. The number of times he has pushed drivers off, hit their rear bumper, or wrecked them is just ridiculous.

He then ruined the race by letting his team mate through to win after he which he came on camera to explain his actions. I was filled with rage listening to that twat though!

Shame BTCC has turned into a banger racing series, back in 1999 it use to be a good series actually to watch. *sigh*

Out of 3 connections to the test servers 2 connections were successful and once i received "did not receive guest info" after waiting in a queue of 2.

I am also suffering with bad stutters when people join the server, is anyone experiencing the same thing?

This flicker I had as well, I could see the task bar and my winamp flashing through the screen while sitting on the lfs main menu. The screen wasn't black though...

dont have the rest in the options (its an old card)

I did forget to mention that I am using the Omega drivers which are quite a bit different from the official ati drivers...

I cannot reproduce the bug here too, I've been clicking away for the last 35 minutes and it just doesn't happen.

Desktop and LFS resolution set at 1400x1050 85hz

It seems to minimize and maximize flawlessly. Saying that tough, few days ago with patch w34 i believe I did get a black screen, first time in ages but nothing since then.

how long does it take you to join the server? when i was queuing it took roughly around 40 seconds to get in.... and once it actually disconnected me when I got down to one.

hmm odd, I tried to join but got the unexpected packet size and then it stopped connecting.
