Ahh that picture brings back memories, I can still remember my dad having a car like that during the early 90s.... and it was read too didnt have a horse though
a very sad story this, some people are just no right upstairs if they do this sort of thing. This is also a good reason for all those anti-game activists to highlight their views and call for violent computer bans even though the content of the game had nothing to do with this case most likely media will spin it and attack computer games. Yes there have been cases which have envolved GTA and Manhunt and deaths by kids copying some of the stuff from the game but this is just crazy punching a 17 month old baby....
I agree with the quote posted in that thread.." there should definitely be a test you have to pass before you're allowed to reproduce"
guy is a psycho..
I do admit when one is playing you can get really sucked into it and certain things can really annoy you, like a power cut, mum walking across tv, phone ringing or dying when getting really far and not saving so much that some anger builds up, but that anger needs control and gentle release. A walk in the park, walk to the fridge to pick up a packet of 40g Walkers Pickled Onion crisps, a few deep breaths....
I had moments where i broke my hardware when i was playing the psx by hiting the control pad really hard and blaming it for loosing (was 14 then) but to do something like that crazy guy did is just disghusting, may he forever burn in hell!!!
I must admit ive never been a fan of ea as their games arent exactly great and are mainly aimed at people who want the pick up and play factor and thats something i dont really like and look for.
If you read about ea on wikipedia it gives a good view of the company and its policy. Their goal is to make money but thats the same with any business but they do it by producing "run of the mill games" as the article says. We have seen this with fifa and nhl quite popular franchises but the quiality of the games isnt usually very good and sometimes the a new version of a game doesnt really feel new as many textures/sounds/models are reused (again example of nhl) game hasnt changed much since the 2004 version with things looking very similar except the changed of team kits and faces.
There have been games that i have enjoyed from ea like need for speed 1 and 3, medal of honour, nfsu, but i am annoyed at the quality of some games like medal of honour (last one) which was totally rubbish, a game filled with bugs, ran like shit and didnt even compare to the first series...there are more examples of ea just taking a game, having a nice idea, bring out a good solid first title and then ruin it in the sequal....
but as xc nuse said, they are there to entertain people who are bored and aslong as people are bored they will continue to make money and computer games.
I dont have a problem with ea, if i see a game which i think is good i will buy it but can't say that has happened recently when i held a ea title in my hand...
all i can say that if it wasnt for ea i probably would have never got into racing games as need for speed one was the first game i have ever placed eyes on and is probably the reason why i am here today, it got me into cars...
mad
edit: also Sims were quite playable cant remember if they were the ones that developed it
actually he is speaking for a lot of people.. it really isnt that difficult to line up decals, ads, text or what have you. Its all about practise, the lfs skin viewer also makes it very easy to view your skin and fix any errors...
ermm? what has live for speed online got to do with your spamming (your mistake as you call it) if you are refering to Traxxion's post...You appeared on these forums and within a day you posted 83 times, your post count per day has dropped slightly now but still stands at 33 such was the extent of your spamming..
Now the lfs community are a friendly bunch, we always welcome new racers but your posting the other day didnt get you off to a good start by getting a 1 day ban...
arghhhhhh :vomit: dont wanna see/smell/eat any more Jaffa Cakes! I am not a sweet food person, I am more known for my crisp eating exploits..... I have just gone through another 24 pack of Jaffa Cakes....I have made 3 attempts which i have recorded and now i am trying to encode to make it more suitable size... whole vid is around 11 minutes long..... 2 attempts are void and even the last one is questionable... atleast i can say i tried!
edit: ok.. video is uploaded its 8.86mb thanks to Bob giving me a few pointers on compression with vdub....cheers Bob
Here is more Jaffa Cake Death
how are u planning the jaffa cake distruction without your teeth? unless you are that patient and wait for the saliva dissolve method? would be quite a lenghty video tho!
whoohoo.... Yeah i had a problem fitting the vertical stack (refering to the whole stack and not the angle of one jaffa cake) in my mouth twice before this attempt so i thought id try a different method as i was running out of cakes fast!! If i feel up to it i am willing to give it another go tomorrow and go for the 7th....
I think the horizontal stacking of the cakes can be quite good as it can push out your cheeks more so you can squash more in.. its also easier to chew than the vertical stack as i choked on my previous attempts using the vertical stack method, the top jaffa cake got wedged between my teeth and i could not move it... i was just thinking if it possible maybe you can try fitting 4 vertically, 2 in each cheek and one frontal which would make it 9 but that would be insane!!! maybe ill just replace tomorrows meals with jaffa cakes as the calorie intake goes up quite fast with this challenge....
i am aimng to beat the brits(tristan) at their own game... Czechs will prevail!
