I don't know if something like this already exists in the game but it would be cool to be able to display an arrow showing the direction and the intensity of the G received by the driver.

Quote from Drifter[fin] :usually rally courses is "point to point" example (Start-------------End)
i hope to S3 comes such course becose thats might be much intresting than normal course. in normal courses u repeat througthout same. "point to point" course should be very long. maybe 15-30minutes. (1hour course doesn`t do bad anyone) thats exiting if between are mountain, forest, city... then u dont right away saturate same curves and landscapes... anyone wanna it to?

That would be cool but there will be a RAM problem if it's too long!

Quote from JET46 :I would like to see the BF1.07, and the BF1.08 the next year, ans so on.

I would prefer the BF1.05 with a V10 and more than 900 horse power!

Would be nice if we could start a track from wherever we want. Or even better, if we could play with a lauched car on a specific portion of a track!

Quote from Forbin :IMO, nothing on any console can come close to the better sims on PC (i.e. LFS and RBR). A lot of it has to do with the nature of consoles as mainstream gaming devices. Racing games developed on them must appeal to the mainstream (NFS, GT, Forza, PGR). There has been at least one exception in the form of a bike sim, though. TT Superbikes* on PS2 is really good as far as bike sims go, though of course it also has its quirks.

*not to be confused with Superbikes II or Superbikes: Riding Challenge which is arcade crap

Toca 1 and 2 on PSone were pretty good for their time!

Quote from joen :So you want a program to create new cars but you didn't even drive all the cars LFS has right now?

Yeah LFS is so hard to find on emule.
You can't play online but i'm sure that's not such a big deal for a lot of people.
I began like this! Then I bought a license....

Globally it's better but there's still a lot of work to do.
The BF1's sound is awful!

Quote from Jamexing :I happen to follow the latest technological trends in racing and current f-1 cars run about 45/55 F/R. In fact, everyone is aiming for more front downforce and more front weight bias. The mprovements to mid corner performance are obvious to anyone who understands physics (tire load sensitivity, etc). And seriously, do check the latest EVO IX specs (max torque at 3000rpm, max power at 6500rpm). Now that is a realsitic power curve.

Lack of six speeds makes it impossible to offset the unrealistically narrow power bands. In fact, both RB4 and the XRT could benefit greatly from this.

But seriously, try finding a current sport compact in the RB4s class with only 5 speeds. As I've said, even a 32,000AUD Toyota Corrolla Sportivo with the 1.8L 191hp engine has 6 speeds. To say a 6 speed is out of the question defies the realism the LFS is supposed to convey. 6 speeds are so common that even the Nissan Pathfinder 2.5L turbodiesel runs a 6 speed manual!

In layman terms, to not have 6 speeds in cars of RB4 and XRT class is highly unrealistic. Seriously, even an 4G63s from the 80s had much better power curves than what LFS endows the RB4 and XRT.

Hopefully, for the sake of realismm, these problems are rectified. If LFS is as sim as it is supposed to be, why not use relistic gearboxes and power curves?

The RB4 is a replicate of the Celica GT4 and it have only five gears!

Quote from Shotglass :if you can feel the engine shake the wheel left to right in your car or your steering column stops transporting any forces as soon as your understeering its time to mend it

I did not speak about shaking left to the right but about vibrations! The wheel is vibrating as if there was something strong moving behind it!

I think the forcefeedback could be improve at least if we compare it to FIA GTR! Unlike GTR I don't fell the engine through the wheel's vibrations and there no way to fell the road during a straight line!

Its a minor improvement but i also think that LFS lacks a hood view!
