but it doesn't need to be equal, as far as im remembering correctly, the processors these days are superscalar, meaning they dedicate all cpu load to a task until it's striped off the cpu, to make room (time) for another task...
so in this scenario you have a codec using "more" load than lfs, thsu lfs can't render further until the codec has finished its work for the latest frame, and still you get acceptabe filesizes.
well you're right but do me a favor and buy me a bigger harddisc for uncompressed vid.
besides most videos have block-artifacts even these from hollywood productions, not to mention the self-produced...
so for me it's a good trade-off between quality and recording speed when it comes to capturing.
well if it's 768*576 (pal) then my old 733Mhz comp manages it at about 60-85% cpuload...
Anyways the load will be there but what's better?
disc load, while writing about 24-43mb/s or
Cpu load, while writing about 12-22mb/s (@ 20 quality [0,0]) or
Cpu load, while writing about 7-11mb/s (@ 19 quality [10,10]) ?
now imagine what will happen whe you set the resolution higher...
256 steps is maximum resolution?
wow, i have no idea about the specs of the material but in model-builder scene even the cheapest digital steering instruments (for controlling planes/helicopters) use more than 512 or even up to 1024 steps.
ok, there are just a few really good-usable controllers anyway, but these are far more precise...
and even some servos use more than 512 steps to tune...
makes me think why noone complains about that.
and the new (a few months ago) wheel does anybody know about it's resolution?
+1 for in game capture
+2 for codec use i suggest mjpeg with file splitting @ 2gb file size.
+3 for audio output too (so that audio/video match when replayed @ 50fps for example)
sounds like some kind of paradise...
But i don't want to be in the vicinity of an american (unexperinced) driver on 2 wheels when it's coming to hairy situations...
I was told by my instructor that the process of legal-driving a car in the states is very simple...
I wonder why this is...
make what fits you best...
don't care that much about other opinions, you have to race with it not the others...
(except when making a skin for your clan-mates)
sure thing it's a good movie, not doubting that.
But talk to a professional cutter, i guess they'll point out that a movie (even a short one) can make use of a climax (to stand out from the rest of the clip).
but it makes sense, here an market-research institute pointed out that the youth of the nation 15-22 year old people have most of the money to spend.
So you see why these movies are made, (geek-war continues) first via toys, then via cell-phones (ring-tones and stuff...), now via movies too...
it all comes down to money (like always)...
nice movie. thx for your entertainment.
and most of all that "Realistic Racing Sim" maybee due to that some more people will be curious about lfs now and will have a look... (hopes)
now i would have synced the cuts to the music, especially when the first refrain starts (in the video you see the big led-wall "flashing", first time i saw this it send shivers down my spine ) there i would have synced your jump to the refrain...
