Actually, ABS could be very important going in reverse. Say you're in an fz5. You clip some grass on a straight, and you're suddenly going backwards. "when you spin, both feet in" Now, if there was abs when reversing, you're tires would have a less chance of having flat spots. It could help quite a lot.

Reason : fzr -> fz5
I dont get it. you have a ton of options that you dont choose... (edit: ok put in e-code thing.)
Probably get dell, for the options selected are superior to the HP's.
p.s. get the gtx 280, and now dual 9800gt's. Leaves you room to upgrade and takes out the hassle of SLI; if you can afford the extra cost. I wish dell would add more options like a GTX 260...
All in all you could make this computer for a lot cheaper, but i'd say go for Dell.
Then a good graphics card:a bit more performance than you need, but your CPU isn't the best so this will take a lot of use; it will also future-proof your computer for a few years. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ ... aspx?Item=N82E16814161244
JasonJ, Skstibi, and I did a test today with the XRG on which distance is longer; abs threshold or locked wheels. Our tests concluded that ABS was shortest distance, threshhold was second, and locked were longest. (im sure JasonJ will make a thread or post about our findings later ) But in the Fz5, the data was far different. The locked wheels went a lot further, and the threshold was a tiny bit less than ABS. We could have tested more cars, but eh.
Yeah, I think the 8600gt can't handle the large res. I'd suggest a newer card. If you plan on playing newer games at those res, too, a gtx 260 would be good for ya. Or if you just play LFS in tri-monitor a 9800gt should suffice. I'm not good on ATI's GPU numbers so someone else can fill you in there
Most of the broken shifters are from users abusing the thing. I let my brother try and drive once, and he slammed the thing into the gears. Its not a real shifter, folks. There is a line beyond using which crosses into abuse. If you use it correctly, it will not break. The shifter has not broken on me in two years. Sure, it could have been made to suffer abuse, but it wasn't, and you must change your actions to reflect that.
cheap barebones that list two different graphics cards usually come with a terrible motherboard and crap components. I'd definately wait to save up a bit more. The monitors take a big toll on the budget. If you can maybe have 700-750 dedicated on the pc and then 300-350 for monitors, it would definately get you higher-performance hardware. Of course, one 22" monitor usually suffices, but it's up to personal preference.
p.s. mail-in-rebates are almost impossible to complete when the products are ordered over internet, because there usually is not an original reciept in the first place, and never more than one to get rebates from each component.
p.p.s. its also upgradable - the motherboard supports quad cores (phenoms) if you think you need the power in the future.
Can you build a computer without the barebone? It will be a lot better if you could; ATM i'm creating a budget amd system for ya on newegg see how much I can shave off that price that you got.
Also, you might want to invest in a good graphics card to play on two monitors with games like those. I put a 9800gt in your build, and should be sufficient. will be a bit more money though
You probably need a new graphics card (and RAM, too), as you probably suspected since you posted in this sub-forum. What model motherboard do you have? how many watts does your psu make? Also, do you play any other games avidly besides LFS? cant make a recommendation without knowing these.
p.s. your english is fine
Yes, someone here told me about a program called QuickSoundSwitch. It does exactly what you are asking about, but it is a bit buggy with my sound card. You can try it youself, though. http://www.quicksoundswitch.toflo.de/
edit: you can fix this problem without software - just buy a cheapo sound card and you will be able to choose which one goes to which, afaik. At least with my USB headset it's that way. Maybe not with 3.5 jack headsets? Not sure, though.
edit2: its probably the usb headset, not the sound card.
Put it in a safe spot and don't lose it, because one day you'll be kicking yourself in the face if you need it for some reason but threw it out / sold it.
