Well get your point and somehow it makes sense. However have to say that lower irl motorsport championship - club championship - are sort of the same. Who have ever heard of british 750 motorsport club races for example apart people involved on it? At the end of the day I assume that's more the competition spirit you have that will give you the motivation to do.
As you are already around for quite a while the lack of development just killed all the motivation. Can find the same thing with really early hotlappers that left LFS even before early 2009, however some new people were always here to take over. That's just not the case anymore. Still get some new good hotlappers, some quality one with Marus, ilbens, Joonas, Isaac or Matti (and others) but less than before which isn't helpful to motivate someone and increase that competition spirit.
At the end of the day, even if there is a slow development and stupid kids some close racing in some good leagues (NDR/genR...) and/or good public server (cargame,...) makes those £25 always worth. Plus most of the community is full of nice guys, yeah idiots are always screaming louder although being a minority.
I don't think it should be so bad. Rallying requires some quick move on the steering and the only thing his handicap changed the car is the use of paddle shift.
However I don't know if he can handle properly all those buttons on a formula one steering wheel...
Thanks NDR and Deko for running this serie ! Was really good and thanks everyone that took part into it. Driving standard was pretty good imo this year and really competitive !
I'm still wondering how they will BoP that class. They clearly can't slow down LMP2 because of Le Mans so that's mean they will have to gives wing to DP. Will be interesting
Tbh I assume the long term aim is to merge DP and ACO LMP2 regulation to have something consitent.
If it can bring some decent people too that may be worth giving it a try isn't it? I mean usually people that can't control the car in LFS becuase that's not need for speed doesn't stay long but usually people that are able too spend some more time. Would just be a way to get more player so yeah the drawback is having more noobs but I don't think it will bring more noob as a percentage.
