Argentina, Portugal and Spain still have a large amount of spectators as well. I think it is really interesting to see that in two stages, Loeb built such a strong gap at Monte Carlo especially because no one get live timing in the car. That's mean that everyone was racing absolutely flat !

Loeb is definitely an alien but have to say that VW did quite an impressive debut and that Ogier is really in Loeb legacy.

By the way I know this is about 2012 season but this season edit made by Citroën is really awesome and show why rallying is fantastic. That's show as well how Loeb did affect Citroën reputation and how iconic he is for this brand. Quite interesting to compare that with other categories and see how people around the world are enthusiast for rallying.

Although it is in French (english subtitles available), this movie is awesome. Just show how rally is and how ppl around the stages are still passionate about it.

Quite interesting to see that a lot of people says that Rally is really low in term of business with only 2.5 (Hyundai...) constructor and 5 differents WRC but at the end of the day, there is still 390,000 spectators in French rally which place this event again as the 2nd biggest sports event in France after Le tour de France and right in front of Le Mans (254,000). That enables this county of France to earn 18,7 million euros in one week. Not bad !

Ofc it is Loeb's home but still look at how many people were on the side of the road in Argentina, Portugal, Finland,...

Well still better to get more cars as you never know what can happen. Especially in endurance you can DNF without having a failure in the car or in the team/driver. I guess Davidson's crash at Le Mans show that

Hum deleted that file from my ftp unfortunately but will post it back in few minutes including a 2012 update.

Btw if someone wants to convert it for FZ5 use, feel free as soon as you mention where you get it from So applying if you want to use only the tailights from the 2012's one and remove the RSR stuff.

I think this race was one of the cleanest race of top level LFS series for a long time. Only few protest and exept in last hour one car, only few moment. Some really great racing for podium and only one SC !

Actually there is also a SC rules You can still gain times in Code 60 by loosing less (no) time into pitlane

Well truth is that in any real racing series it is fordbidden to drive the wrong way and a big penalty will be applied (probably SG and big money penalty, saw it once in Magny Cours, the car got 5laps penalty).

That's not a new thing that going wrong way is forbidden in league in LFS at WE1. I think 3id gt2 lost of fastest lap in 09/10 quali. So even if it wasn't clearly written in rules book, it was written here with the penalty drivers would receive in case of failing respecting it.

Maybe it could have been part of rules book but at the end of the day it was announced. We didn't see it on time, some (vires) were stupid not to send another driver to prequal knowing that their driver did that but at the end of the day we can't complain about admins as they did their job. Can possibly complain about was it too harsh but maybe that's a bit to late for that as it was announced several days ago. Anyway I guess this one apply here about information being broadcast only using lfs forum :
