Well that's bad, something's preventing the UDP position updates to get through to your client. If you've tried with both the router's hardware firewall and your software firewall disabled, then it must be something your ISP is doing. I suggest you contact them and ask if they're filtering any UDP traffic.

CTRL+T requests position updates via TCP, which is less efficient than UDP. What is your reason for doing that? Doesn't it work with UDP?

9 replies and not a single burning banana for a demo user on Kyoto? Seriously?
Well alright: :bananadea

That aside, it'll be interesting to see if this can match DriftWars's DriftWarrior, which I presume was the inspiration.

He probably means having the AI take over from you and vice versa. This is not possible, AIs enter the race/qualifying/practice separately in their own vehicles and cannot assume control of your vehicle, nor can you assume control of an AI controlled vehicle.

Using the correct colour profile for your monitor? Perhaps adjusting the display would help, should be somewhere in the control panel, perhaps under colour management.

Quote from Androme :DX11 is massively multi-threaded.

And not just internally, the API itself is thread-safe, passing the benefits on to the developers.

Click
Quote :The second, and biggest contribution in my opinion, is what DX11 is doing in regards to multithreading. In DX10 and DX9 apps today, multithreading is very hard ... sub routines can be threaded, such as AI, physics, particle systems and such, but the final rendering is locked sychronously to the rendering thread which spits graphics commands to the GPU. DX11 alleviates this restriction, and allows for multiple parallel resource loading, meaning that to complete a frame and issue the draw batches to the command buffer (which feeds the GPU on what to do) no one particular thread will need to lock synchronously to a single instance of a rendering thread. In otherwords, investments in quads and superquads (i.e. SMT core i7) today as well as high stream processor count GPUs will reap real, tangible benefits down the road.

You did create a profile in profiler and specify separate axes (= untick Report combined pedals) in the Specific Game Settings, right?

Quote from Inouva :Awsome, how the comunity ( most part ) respond to a thread with sarcams and stupids pics...

Good work!

Did you read the OP? Suggesting a feature that already exists in LFS to be implemented. What's more an improvement of said feature was announced in the tyre physics report. Sarcasm is appropriate

Button clutch IS instant, you can even shift by simply pressing shift-up/shift-down and clutch simultaneously. The button control rate is utterly irrelevant.

Unordered lists containing li[dl[dt|dd]] constructs for example.
Like TAA says though, tabular data belongs in tables

You could add
/ff 100

(or whatever value you prefer) to the script files paddle.lfs, sequential.lfs and road.lfs in data/script/. This will set the FFB strength to the specified value when you leave the pits in any car.

Quote from amp88 :Quarantine's are in place for a reason. You can't just exempt a search and rescue dog. Silly petition...seems like another case of animal lovers/animal rights people suspending logic.

What's logical about locking a dog (with its much, MUCH faster metabolism compared to humans) up for months and not locking the humans up at all?

I shall counter with this and this. The latter is quite biased towards DX, but still valid.
