Is there any one out there willing to help me modify these decals, i've searched loads of sites but can't quite find what i'm after. Both logos need to have a thick white edge around the text, see preview.

I'm new at photoshop and haven't found how to resize/offset around the text.

Thank you very much

Andrew

Quote from mrfell :Having just bought a DFP from a fellow racer, within this forum, i can now see what the fuss is about with this wheel. It feels much more solid than my old tired Saitek R440 and the fact all the buttons can be configured is brilliant. So if you see me racing and i disappear or want to restart for some bizarre reason, then i've probably hit the wrong button!!!illepall

Not been online as yet, still learning to drive again. i'm trying to keep mine at 900deg but driving any rear wheel drive cars is HARD work. Trouble is now, trying to catch a slide. How many people here have their DFP at full 900 deg?

Quote from tinvek :when i first started driving in real life my first car was a vauxhall viva 1256 cc, it was gutless so i used to flat shift that when i was in a hurry and because the engine was so slow racing it never did any damage.

btw giles villeneuv used to flat shift the ferrari f1 car all the time , this before electonic aids and paddel changes etc

vauxhall vivas rocked!! a mate of mine had an estate it was brilliant for a first car, i even had a 2 tone chevette!!

Quote from Chris_Kerry :My experiences are the same. I think I drove the BF1 at Blackwood for around 15 laps and haven't touched it again.

IMO the single seater car everyone should be using now is the F08.

The FOX is great for close racing as it's become a little easier to drive but I think the FO8 poses the right mix atm.

I quite agree, although i'm keeping offline atm as it still catches me out too often to become competitive.
Having said that i raced at BLGP in the FO8 along with a load of F1's and managed quite well (alright they kept crashing and i kept going)!!

Quote from tristancliffe :I think all motoring programmes (in the UK at least) are utterly rubbish from a car buying point of view. I would bet a lot of money that the majority of people won't make a purchase decision based on the cars shown, whether they be Honda Jazz's or the latest 1350hp Veyrons.

However, Fifth Gear is saved by Vicki Butler-Henderson (if you don't facy her you're either too young or not car nut), and Tiff Needell (although few race drivers are complimentary about his driving). But they ALL take themselves too seriously, especially that shaggy dog presenter who I wouldn't let convince me to buy a hamster. The latest series (of the two episodes I bother to sit through) seems to be copying Top Gears style a bit more, which is a good thing.

Top Gear is saved by the fact that it realises it's not trying to help sell cars, or present useful facts. It's basically car porn. They do silly things, silly races, silly events, silly features to achieve one thing, and one thing only - good television.

I'd much rather have my eyes taped open to watch 24 hours of Top Gear than 24 minutes of Fifth Gear (unless it was 24 minutes of VBH outtakes ) I just hope that they don't take it too far, in an attempt to better themselves every series. They don't need to be better, just have different things.

Did you see Sir Jackie Stewart teach Captain Slow last night around Oulton Park. Its things like that which money cant buy! I'm jealous I want to work on Top Gear

Edit: Poxy world cup interrupts Top Gear for tooo long!

Quote from tristancliffe :I don't think it was. If it was on purpose he did it very badly, risking damage and a flat spot. But as everyone loves to hate a winner I can understand why people thought it was on purpose.

As someone who drives single seaters, I thought you would have smelt a rat, that was the biggest BLAG ever and it failed, he is too good to make that sort of mistake, it was calculated but went wrong. If he crashed or broke something it might be a bit more believeable but the interviews after said it all!!

Just my opinion

He's such a pillock, even if he was 2nd, he'd still be in with a chance of a win, now he should go to the back! Better still disqualified!!!

i suppose the answer to T1 problems is to have mandatory qualifying, that way the fast boys are at the front!
no maybe not!!

perhaps the simplest way would be to ban messages as soon as the first red light appears?
then after green you can start again

Quote from mrodgers :Make sure you mount a vid camera!!!!

I'm jeleous of you guys over there who can head to the ring. The best we have is "Tail of the Dragon". 318 turns in 11 miles or something. Would be great, but it's a public road, watched heavily by the police (35-45 mph limit), and for kicks, the dispatchers like to send the big rigs through there instead of around.

Some interesting pics if you'd want to try battling these guys on your motorcycle. Note - Don't forget, we drive on the right hand lane of the road over here.

http://www.tailofthedragon.com/dragon_trucks.html

Jeez that is crazy, why on earth do those truckers use that road, surely there must be some straight alternative?
BTW thats the best looking roads ive seen in the US - biker heaven

Quote from al heeley :I have my wheel paddle buttons mapped to both stick and paddle. Simple, Then they work for any of the cars. I'm also using the auto clutch thing, you have to get used to the cars different methods of gear changing. For the 1600 and 1800 you have to drop the revs to change up and time it right or it won't change or will miss a gear. This is a nice touch as it takes some practice to do it without losing time. In LFS you can slam thru the gears at any time. In NKP this adds another element of skill to the driving. The fTarget is a lot easier with auto rev-cut on change, like driving the BF1 but not as fast obviously.
The controller config is not exactly intuitive but I reckon it's worth a little perseverance as the 'feel' and looks of the game are, IMO, excellent. It's just not one of those sims you can play straight out of the box and expect to do 5 fast laps straight off without crashing the car. This reminds me of GPL, which has to be my all-tuime favourite PC game (sorry - sim).

I think i read somewhere on the RSC forums that you can double shift through the gears on the 1600 and 1800 ie no lift on the power. You then gewt one fast upshift.

Quote from Gentlefoot :I was in Cardiff on a stag night a couple of year ago and the bouncer for Macdonalds (yes, they have a doorman for the famous fast food outlet in Cardiff) had an absolutley mint GSX1100R. Perfect it was. Blue and white - classic suki colours and. Even the white wheels were totally unmarked.

But those fast old sports bikes are all a bit dodgy if you ask me. Even the little the RD350LC - 'the widowmaker'.

The first blades were pretty 'pointy' too.

Sometimes I just want a Bandit 1200 to chug about on tho. lol.

I've had the "pleasure" of riding an RD350LC which was tweaked with a race pipe and it scared the S**T out of me, it felt lighter than my push bike. The tyres weren't much fatter either.!!
I'd like a bandit 12 with the wide crosser bars and the projecter lights

Quote from Gentlefoot :yeah - I love having a bit of noise. It always seems quiet on the bike anyway .

TL1000R - hmm... cheap 1 litre v twin grunt - nice

Of course if i was a real macho hairy arsed biker it would be the TL1000s or if you were harder still it would be the GSXR1100, but i like the fact the bikes i've riden had reasonable frames and went round corners!!

Did the 600 have the steering dampener to stop any tank slapping?

Quote from danowat :I prefer not to draw to much attention, which is why I wanted a bike with a standard can .

Dan,

If you get bored of listening to a singer sewing machine humming between your legs, you could always get a road legal can, gives a few extra horses and sounds sweeter!

The 750 absolutely pulls yer foreskin back! Focused, mental bike.

The nearest bike i had that happen was a TL1000R. V TWIN POWER!

Quote from danowat :Trouble with that is the old bill can hear you coming a mile off, and then make a point of checking you out

Don't have that trouble with a standard can

Dan,

Hearing bikes at full chat with a race can makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!!! Theres a main road about 1 mile from me and on a nice evening the air can be filled with screaming end cans, only wish i was there!!!

The funniest bit with a race can is that if you miss a gear EVERYONE knows about it....LOL!!

The ultimate thrash machine, from what i've heard its all or nothing, bit like riding a 2 stroke? Not much of a power band, but when you find it.......whey!
