Well Guerrieri did absolutely insane in 2010 F3.5 with the ISR despite missing half the races he still was in contention for the title.
its a serious shame Jean Karl Vernay couldn't get a ride, hes career looks impressive, from basically being signatures noly decent driver in F3 euro series in '09 to destroying Indy lights in 2010(including hinchcliffe) but then dissappearing into the wilderness.
Ill agree though there is a big gap between the top and midfeild/bottom drivers in that series, but generally you can say that there has always been a good driver in there at any given time(whether it be 1 to 3 drivers).
I do think though that since the merger its slowly going to eventually sort out those problems, the ideal level for it would be around GP3/F2 Level.

I know it might be a bit early to say it just yet, but indy lights has been able to bring in some decent talent into the main series, hildebrand, Hinchcliffe and newgarden have seem to adjusted to the main series pretty well.
Well if they rubber up the track the wear will decrease and it will become more predictable, you can't really win.
Shanghai is probably the best dry race you will get, people will always winge but the tyres burn like a hot knife through butter there and it does wonders for the race.

Kimis strategy was screwed badly, should of just pit when button did, because the 2 stopper couldn't work with that many laps left for the final stint.
Sauber where pretty slow though, i expected better from Perez that wide momment cost him about 4 places in the long run, Kobayashi did good despite 3 stops.
The two stopper was definetly the best for this race, mainly because it was alot colder then last year but it was crucial to make sure you didn't do your last stop too late.

It was behind the Toyota and none of them were close to capitalising on it, sure they managed a pole but their race pace was shite.

You have to remember though wsbk has works teams though.
Considering the gap currently on a completely fresh bike and relaxed rules for CRT i would give it by the end of the season untill they are able to sort the electronics out then they will be able to mix with theprotos but with that much rule advantage by the time this happens it could be a matter of races before there faster then them all, depending on team budget on R & D.

bourdais isn't the best qualifier though so it hurts him in that regard(not saying hes bad though), but thats probably Powers biggest advantage.
You could complain about jerez '97 but you could also see it from the perspective that Schumacher was able to compete for the title in a much slower car then the williams.
