I have 2 Windows installed. XP 32 bit and Vista 64 bit where all of my 8GB mem are available.
But I spend 95% of my time in XP. Why? Because of shitty driver support and lack or 64 bit apps. My gfx board tend to "disable" direct X thingies, but I'm pretty lucky. It snaps back on in a sec or two later, while I've read that some have to wait much much longer, and there are others who are forced to restart the computer.
My beloved Audigy soundboard is supporded - but since I'm using 5.1 headphones and Creative Labs are whores, I can't use my headphones in stereo mode. Well, Ok... a dude hacked the drivers so it is possible, but the hack is kinda buggy and sound quality suffers.
There's even lack of 32 bit software capable of running on Vista 64 - and also lack of propper functioning apps. Apps which are officially reported as being able to run on Vista 64 (some features gets disabled - sucky for me as these are the ones I prioritize the most.. doh!).
It was a big disappointment to me - however, I do 3D stuff and my 3D app is in 64 bit.. so I do get some use out of it
Would I recommend 64 bit? Nope... but then again - I expect my system to work flawlessly.
SIG (Setupgrid.net In-Game) takes care of the tedious tasks for you - displaying a list of available setups and automatically downloading them to your setup folder, all without you ever leaving the game.

How do I install SIG?
Simply extract the zip archive anywhere you wish on your hard drive. You may need a tool such as Winzip or WinRAR to do this.
How do I display a list of available setups?
After launching Live for Speed using SIG, type "/o setup" once on any multiplayer server, and a list of setups will appear.
Can I upload setups with SIG?
Not currently, but we intend to support in-game uploads in the future
Can I use SIG if I launch Live for Speed from my default LFS.exe?
No. You must launch Live for Speed through SIG.exe in order to use it.
How do I launch Live for Speed with SIG?
There are two ways to do this, depending on whether or not SIG has already been opened. The first is to open SIG.exe. The second (if you have already launched SIG) is by right clicking the SIG tray-icon and selecting "Launch Live For Speed".
SIG isn't launching Live for Speed, what's wrong?
The most likely answer is that SIG has not been configured to your LFS installation. You can set your LFS directory by right clicking the SIG tray icon and selecting "Configure".
Where is my log file?
To have a log file you must first save this file in your SIG "/bin" folder. A log file will then be produced in the root SIG folder titled "setupgrid.log". If you experience any errors this log file will enable us to understand them. We only reccomend using one if SIG asks you to check your log file.

Setupgrid.net now holds a total of 1383 setups and with our recent release of SIG, each and every setup can be downloaded directly from within Live For Speed, even while you are driving. The concept behind SIG works best when all combos are catered for, so keep them coming and thanks for your support so far!
Spoiler: an updated SIG will be released later this week.
Thanks to everyone who participated.
Edit: Deadline for Boogeyman to claim his prize has been set to 31st October.
I use Comodo @ work (free) and Outpost @ home. Never had Outpost cause any BSOD even though I'm also using Kaspersky AV, which can cause problems to get them to play well together.
I've been on Comodo for about 10 months and Outpost for about 2 years now. Would recommend Outpost, but you are having problems with it. Comodo is OK too but IIRC it lacks "gaming mode" and can be a overwhelming/annoying with popups.
Ps. I agree with george_tsiros: can quickly get complicated.
