I might try that! Except instead of Schumacher, I will use Jimmie Johnson (my dad likes him because my brother watches NASCAR and likes him). Maybe that will help to convince him. Thanks for the great ideas guys!

My dad finally agreed to drive it yesterday. He said that it was not realistic for one reason. Everyone was going above the speed limit. He would not push over 50 mph!!! When I told him it is a racing simulator that will improve my driving, he said that racing is not good. He said I should be only a legal driver!!!

BTW, skippy, I really do like your idea. And seeing as the new test patches let the demo racers use skins, it is really good for me. And thanks for the compliment!

Yes, it does look amazing! The replay system is great! I even got to race an S2 racer on an S2 server (it has demo requirements) right now (lost by only 2 seconds)!

But I have one question. Since patch Y18, we have been able to use the skins online, right? (I have not tried online yet) But on LFSWorld, we still are not allowed put our skins there. Will we demo racers be able to do that now that we are allowed to use the low-res skins? Also, are the skins just for single player, or can they go online?

it is with the new patch y19. Look it up. And I was not using the xrt. I was either using the xrg or the xfg. xfg=racing; xrg=drifting. If you go now with patch y19, the guy may still be there. Btw, go to test patch there. I can get on an S2 server as long as it fits the demo requirements (xrg, xfg, fbm, and blackwood only). That one was like that. Btw, where does it say that I was using xrt? It never says that anywhere in the picture as far as I can see. But I may not be looking in the right place since I have not gone on LFSWorld more than three times.

Yes, actually, I did read that. Unfortunately, I cannot do any of those (don't know programming). I am trying to get the skinning to go, but the best program I have is Windows Paint, and that just is not good enough I guess. If anyone has any program that is free, maybe up to $10-$15, please suggest it to me. Thanks for the suggestion either way though, skippy!

Yeah, it is torture. And when I say I have the money to pay for the game, this is what I mean:

I pay using my dad's credit card. I give him the $48 that is required for the game that I get from MY money.

OMG, can any of you read the whole topic before you start telling me to get the money. Really? How about you read the numerous times I have stated that I have the money to buy the game, but I cannot since my parents do not let me. I have enough money to buy a $3000 car if I want. Okay, get it? I have the money. My parents do not let me use it on the game. I tried to let my dad play it last night. He looked at it, and said it does not look realistic. Yes, they do not want to have any reason to let my buy the game.

A lot of you are saying that their are no karts in the game. But on the LFS website, the MRT looks a lot like a kart. And on youtube videos, it is classified as a kart in most cases. So, why is it not a kart?

Yes, I found that earlier before I made this topic. But I cannot race in the FBM. I can only get laptimes of around 1:23. And I have seen some of the people on the demo. They would completely obliterate me in the qualification rounds. Now, if you plan on doing some XFG competition in the future, look out for me! In the short few days I have been racing there online, I have gotten my laptimes in the 1:36's range. My best laptime is actually 1:35:53!!! So, I won't be in this competition. Is there any chance of there being future competitions with the XFG maybe, or is that not a possibility?

Hi,

I am about to get a DPF and wanted to know one thing. When a car starts with the mouse or keyboard, there is always wheel spin at the start of the race. With the wheel and pedals, will that not be a problem any more?

Also, I have never driven a real car, so how much should I press? Final question is that is it easier to avoid wheel spin with a manual transmission?

I don't earn money yet. I am just 15. I will be getting a job soon though. Also, as stated earlier, I completely understand how much hard work has been put into this game. If you put together any other three people, it would take them 15 years to get the game as good as it is. This Scavier team is amazing and I hope that when the final S3 comes out, it will be known better than Gran Turismo, Forza, or any other simulator out there. I truly believe this is the best simulator for all-around. Lets keep the game going. And yes, I don't even have a game system. Since my parents won't let me buy any game thing more than $10. Yeah, that narrows me down to the GBA (I don't want one, lol). Anyway, sorry for the bad suggestion, and have some fun racing on LFS!

Yes, I get the point guys. I thought I asked nicely not to flame me. It was after all, just a suggestion. Anyway, as I expected, this idea is not the most popular. And also, I said that I was happy with the demo. I never said the game was bad and am very happy with what the demo has currently. Again, this section of the forum, is just meant for the suggestions, isn't it?

Please stop the flaming. If you want to say why you think it is unfair, please go ahead, but no one needs 10 replies saying, "This is retarded" in 10 different ways. Please, use constructive criticism.

BTW, I have to money to buy the license. My parents just won't let me spend $47 on a game. They say I would just be wasting my money. Looks like I will be in the demo for some time.

Yes, this would make the game a lot better and more realistic all together. Would add a whole new aspect to the game with pitstop strategy. Great idea (though hopefully the spelling is a bit better)
