Yeah, I did read about that, but if they found it at the boyfriend's house, it makes sense that Knox would have touched it. I mean, I am sure she cooked some food (or at least made some sandwiches) for the boyfriend.....jk,jk. Still, it makes sense that Knox's dna was on the knife. It is weird that Meredith's was on there though. But my only beef about the outcome is that there doesn't seem to be conclusive evidence.

And personally, I don't think she looks like a killer. But that doesn't really matter.

So, I tend to go on Yahoo quite a lot and over the past week I started to look at the Amanda Knox case. I had never heard of it before, but it seemed to interest me.

So, I started looking at what evidence they had and what type of stuff was going on, but I just can't figure out why she was convicted guilty. I mean, there doesn't seem to be any definite evidence against her.

So, not wanting to sound retarded if I ever talk about this in public, could you guys help explain why she was? Or why you think she shouldn't have been?

I downloaded the installer and put it in this location:

C:\Documents and Settings\UserX\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

I have put it there because my laptop is from school and this is the only folder that allows .exe files to work. (My friends have been going crazy all year wondering how I got firefox to work). But, when I start the installer, it requires an admin login.

The laptop runs windows xp, so I was just wondering why the installer requires admin rights? Isn't one of the reasons for the installer so that in vista and 7 the program files things doesn't get blocked due to admin rights. Having the installer be admin enabled only just seems counter-intuitive.

Or is this just a problem with my computer? I have had all other program installers work fine (except for programs like flash because that requires admin rights as well. I just got the files for firefox from my other computer.)

Core2Duo 2.4Ghz 3mb (Probably up to 2.9Ghz if you flash it with the bios of the MSI GT628 and activate the Turbo button)
nVidida GT160m
2x2046mb DDR3 1066
320Gb 7200rpm

It's slighly over your limit but just 120$ more than the HP with higher resolution, 10x times better videocard, lighter and nicer design. On the other hand it has no OS (add extra cost for it you wanna buy it).

Anyway if you like the HP is still a decent option IMO, beeing the screen the only drawback, but don't try to find a 100% perfect laptop because it doesn't exist

How long do you think that the laptops can run in turbo mode? Would it be possible to do it constantly, as in all the time, without it overheating? Also, it sounded fine until you said that there is no operating system. That is quite a cost on it's own and I can't justify it just for a higher resolution. Also, I don't plan on buying anything anytime soon, so maybe the prices will come down enough that I can afford something a little bit better!

Btw, having laptops with the same specs, what fps do you think LFS would run at with the Radeon on the Hp and the nVidia on the Force?

Is there a certain graphics card you had in mind? Because that looked like a great graphics processor. Most of the laptops I was looking at in my price range have the intel integrated which is complete crap. And this one has 2gb graphics memory. That's pretty impressive for this price range.

Btw, thanks for the thing about the warranty. I guess it really doesn't make sense to get that long a warranty. I will probably just get the standard warranty.





Finally, I have one more question. Actually, just my previous one. Are the new Intel i7's core chips so good that the 1.73 would be able to match the higher Core2Duo chips? Like what Core2Duo processor speed would have the same processing power as the Intel i7 processors.

I have been looking to buy a laptop for some time. Actually, I have till I go to college next fall, but I have been looking around. Here are the specs that I am looking for right now:

15 inch screen
Capability of 4gb ram (I can install it after buying it if needed)
Windows 7 Home Premium or better 64bit
At least 250 gb hard drive
4 year warranty? (I would like it, but they cost a LOT)

Now, my question: Since I plan to be doing an engineering major, I will probably have graphic intensive programs. So, I will need a pretty good graphics card and a nice processor.

So, I have been looking at something with 2.6GHz processor, but recently I have been looking at the Intel i7's. The thing is, when I look at something in my price range (under 1000 preferably, highest 1200), the Core i7's are like 1.73 GHz. Are they so good that a 1.73GHz would be better than, let's say, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz processor.

Also, what graphics card would be sufficient for an engineering major?

Btw, I have been looking at the Dell Inspiron 15 as my best choice right now. Any better ones out there?

On the first post, it states that patch z22 is compatible with online patch z, yet the only servers I can find online are z21 and z22. I can post a pic of it if necessary.

All I do before I go to online is open lfs and click on multiplayer. Click open list of hosts and the only ones that comes up are z21 and z22.

Any reason?

Eh, I felt like helping you out. When you change to mouse, there are two settings out can change on the top. Change the one that's not Button control rate to 0. That will make it completely linear. Hope that helps.

Btw, when you learn how to use the mouse, come and see me. I can race side by side no problem. 1v1 on a private server (10 laps, 1 pit required). How about it?

You know, a demo racer that has done 3623 laps on the track with a PB of 1:34:97 vs. a S2 racer that has done 13 laps on the track with a PB of 1:36:92. Dude, before you go challenging, you should probably realize that S2 racers don't spend all there time on Blackwood.

Btw, you aren't that great a racer either. I suck and my PB is 1:34:56 in just 529 laps. Yeah, I am not kidding, I really suck!

Well, I have been off of LFS racing for some time now (been doing a lot of drifting) and decided that to get back into it. So, instead of going to TBO or GTR's, I decided to try out that amazing demo racing again. Well, I found a few good servers but they are missing something that I have been wanting to try.

You see, I like these sprint races, but I have really been wanting to try my hand at endurance racing for some time. So, I wanted to know, are there any endurance races with the XFG at Blackwood? I am looking at a short endurance race like 40-50 laps. Nothing like 16 hours or more. Just a nice ~hour long race. It seems like it would be fun! Of course, it doesn't have to be a demo server. It could be S2 to get more people on (If blackwood allows more people)!
