It's a good layout for sure. For the oval though, I'd change the entrance to pit. If there was to be a race on there, anyone slowing down to go to pit would be in the racing line. Consider curving the pit to where it starts on the previous straight.
Here's a suggestion you could think about. How about not just making the series about the BTCC? It would open you up to a lot more options for car crashes and let's be honest, the audience for the show doesn't care too much about the BTCC, but more about some nice close racing that just went too far.
Btw, you might want to tell them in the next episode not to click on more than one annotation because some people may just be curious as to what's there.
Just let them know that all annotation videos are the same so they aren't tempted to click on more than one annotation and skew the votes.
It's possible that the votes for the last round were so close because people went back and viewed the other video as well.
I didn't notice that much of a difference. The effect might work a lot better if you had more than just one car going at once and at a different angle. The angle shouldn't be like on top, more of a 45 degree angle imo.
I'm in. Just got the game a couple days ago and suddenly lfs community seems to be back in it! Was just playing on bmxtwin's server and it was pretty fun. Definitely a lot easier with the ps3 controller than the keyboard on the snow!
If I had to, I would have. That's how important an avatar is. I'm surprised this guy isn't more worked up over not having an avatar on the forum of a racing game. It has a clear and direct impact on your enjoyment of this game as I am sure other S2 racers have felt.
It better not be some half-assed refund as well. I got this S2 account for the avatar feature alone. Everything else was a free extra. I want a full refund if they give the demo people the avatar feature. And you can't take away my S2 account to make up the emotional distress.
A video of the murder of Osama Bin Laden's been released. It really shows that Obama wasn't telling the truth about how it happened. The Navy SEAL's weren't even there as the video shows:
Hell, just whatever they are playing looks like a crapload of fun. Just put in a multiplayer element and keep the AI and you are looking at a game that I would put at the top of my list!
I will say, it seems that the most requested game from any need for speed fan (if you go on youtube videos or the nfs forum) always seems to be underground 3. So the demand? Definitely there.
I think adding cops would be great, but you need daytime and nighttime for it to be successful since other games not have that pretty much standard (TDU 2, Midnight Club, etc.) and that takes it well away from the original Underground series formula. Still, I don't see that as too big a problem.
The game would be defined by the physics and let me just say, over everything else, that was why, I think, everyone loved Underground 2. It was a freaking fun game to PLAY. And to be quite honest, I just don't think that EA can pull off fun physics like that again. It may be a pessimistic view, but it's just what I believe. And for that reason, I say that just leave that series as it was on a high note.
(Btw, I'll totally bite my tongue if EA makes a good underground 3 in the future, which I would love too!)
I totally get why people want another Underground since I freaking loved underground 2 (beat it probably more than 10 times), but I don't see how they could make it way better. What all could they add that would make the game a lot better?
So, PC confirmed (SWEET!). They're back to the story modes which I'm not sure about. Really enjoyed Hot Pursuit from Criterion Games so if they're making this as well, I have some pretty high hopes from the game. If it's back to Black Box, I'm not expecting too much from it.
I saw this patch info and I literally screamed "YES!!!!!". My roommate was caught off guard and literally spilled his water onto his lap. I didn't care. Haven't been this excited about LFS in a long while!!!!!!!
