And nighthawk, yep i remember racing you. Idk why, but after being in demo so long, its a really good feeling seeing sombody in a race that youve seen on the forums. Its kinda like "hey, i know that guy!", but not really. Kinda like when you drive by or park by sombody with the same car as you, you can give them the thumbs up? Its like we both race and are a member of the same forum? Idk, ill just shut up.

Great idea, but that would mean like 10 more cars in total, which might be to hard.

I only read the first page, so i dont know if this has been said, but a 4 door 4 wheel drive type of car, like the EVO or the STI, for rally use would be great. Rally racing isnt really too popular in LFS (well, theres not a lot of tracks, and no rally cars (4wd) unless you count the RB4). More cars in the rally class would be a great addition.

EDIT: Also, i KNOW this one has probly been suggested, but ill re in force it, since i already made a post. A few bikes (one scooter style, one harley style, and one superbike style) would be awsome! I dont know if this is already planned for S3, but a few bikes, a 4 door 4wd rally car, a new rally only track, and a mountain track would satisfy almost EVERYONE for S3.

I hope it happens.

Since when is there REAL cars in rFactor? Ive got the demo, and looked at the website, and the only real car i saw was the BMW F1, like in LFS.

Anyways, i have the demo and its really not that great. Theres a good sence of speed, but thats about it. The Fact that how much you turn the wheel doesnt affect how much the wheel turns in the game (meaning if the wheel is turned 90 degrees, somtimes in game it will turn 90 degrees, somtimes the game driver will decide to turn it 180 degrees, and then ajust back to 90 while your still pinned at 90). Game really isnt that much fun, and just seems like a cheap immitation of NFS underground, just with slightly more realistic physics.

Sick! So should i change my LFS name to "MOO Sketchy564"? Any color shchemes i should be using?

I still think its rice, because (yeah, my opinion), it looks plain retarded. Big ass wings on FULL BLOWN RACE/TRACK CARS still look stupid, but its not rice because its actualy serving a purpose. Doesnt mean that EVERYTHING for looks that doesnt serve a purpose, like rims (theres still ricy ones), and SUBTLE aero is rice, but it should be pretty obvious what is and what isnt.

I knew the raceabout was a real car from reading the description of it on the www.liveforspeed.net website, but in the game its ugly as hell. Those pictures dont look to bad, and niether does the car, but im still waiting on a real life rear end picture, because in the game, its super ugly.

Also, does anybody know how to change the dash from red to like, black or dark gray? In options > display, theres stuff that says like FOX dashboard color, and stuff.... is that what its for?

Yep, i got S2!! Played it a little last night, but it seemed to be REALLY dead compared to Demo. There was only 4 rooms with people in them, and they were all like 6 out of 11 people. Is this normal?


Anyways, i turn 15 tommarow (march 4th), but the closest appointment at the DMV to physically get my permit is on march 8th . Big deal? Only because in florida you have to have your permit for atleast 12 months (a year) before you can get your licence, or untill your 18th birthday.

Its a big deal because i really wanted to be able to get my licence on my 16th birthday, but i guess that isnt gonna happen. But 4 days isnt TOO bad'


Anyways, i got a huuuge resarch report to do, and its do tuesday, and i didnt even start it, so i wont be on LFS at all untill 10:00 PM (eastern time, for those in the U.S.), and ill hardly be on the forums. Why 10:00? idk, thats when i decide im too tired to get any work done, and itl be time for my brake untill the next day.

I never really go on MSN messenger, as i live in the united states, and AIM is a lot more common. Im starting to use MSN more though, because on the different drum forums i recently visit, and the LFS forum, there is a lot of people who dont live in the united states, and MSN messenger is a LOT more popular than AIM outside of the U.S.

Anyways, cool suggestion, but like sombody says. The human eye stabalizes this stuff (same way when your running, your vission isnt shaking all over the place). The current "helmet cam" is more realistc than what you suggested would be. Still a cool suggestion tho, and would be kinda fun to have as an optional second helmet cam.

Two licences actualy.

The first one is my restricted liscence (learners permit... im turning 15 on sunday), which i will be getting on monday, since the DMV is closed on sundays.

The other licence is my S2 licence, which i just got! Now heres the thing. Yeah, im happy to have it, but i cant use it. When i go to www.liveforspeed.net, and look at the top right, it says im S2 licenced, instead of S1, like it used to say.

However, when i go to the LFS game itself, it still says im S1.

Now, on the bottom left of the LFS main menu, above the orange exit button, it says "S1 License: SketchyRollin564"

When i had demo, it used to say "Unlock S2" or somthing like that. So i figured thats where i would go to unlock S2, from s1. When i click it, it just shows me my game name, and my game password, but in dots so you cant see it. It has an option to lock the game. So my question


Going from s1 to s2, do i have to lock my current S1 game, and then unlock it again, for s2? Id really like to use my S2 licence any time now.

The Nurburgring is probably my favorite track to race at (in games, atleast). Ive raced on it in GT4 and Enthusia. Before you guys say it, yes i know GT isnt THE Most realistic game, but its still pretty damn good. Enthusia ont he other hand, oh man. The physics in that game are amazing.

As for computer sims, ive only had luck with LFS. I have the demo for R factor and GTR2, and neither of them deserve the "sim" title. Rfactor is completley unrealistic, and i really dont like it. GT2 is pretty fun so far on the demo, but online isnt availiable on the demo, so i dont know how fun that would be. I might pick the full version up once i get enough money.

The second vid is daylight, allowing you to see the "track" more, but keep in mind they are both two different mountian passes. Second one would makme for a perfect road in this game.

There is such a huge amount of people who want a mountain road, and the nurburgring as a new track. Almost 100% of the people want the nurburgring.

I really hope it happens.
